Looks like you got there on a busy day... What time of year was it? I used to sell there once in awhile back in the 90's. Love all the cactus gaedens there.
Are the seller's prices reaonable or are they encouraged to offer lower than usual prices? I think this is the perfect place to sell some of the antiques and vintage stuff I inherited many years ago.
Great tour brother, but where is that halfpipe that is out there? Is it in someone’s yard? I’m in Apple Valley almost Lucerne and that half pipe looks sick!
I'm literally checking this video out bc Joey was on spittin chicklets today talking about how fast the community got behind the team and now it's a frenzy for ppl getting tickets
If you document the whole trail from the hits to the stone house there is some rubble of old placments they had back then building that already got broken down over the years up the mountain some of the right of the trail it's in the rubble might still be there ....
Hi there! I just returned home from 2 weeks of camping in the Palm Springs area. What a great place!! While there, I had 2 work trips that I had to do. So, I got to use the Palm Spring Airport twice. I love that airport!! From the time I got dropped off in front of the airport, I was at my gate in 10 minutes; which included baggage check in as well as getting an iced coffee. The outside areas between the check in/security and the gates are incredible. Great breezes, cool scenery, and just about everybody is happy (with the exception they may not be as they are leaving Palm Springs). The airport staff are all friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next trip there.
Just returned from a 2 week camping trip to Palm Springs. If friendly people are not your jive, run away!! Do you find yourself lamenting that somebody nice may talk to you; get out of dodge! Are you finding yourself regretting missing the last episode of evening news that is full of death, destruction, and loss of luck..........don't even come. Can't stand good food?? Holy cow...this place is miserable.
Nice video but there is nothing to do here except hang out at giant rock and consume crappy food. (Except 5.00 pizza) Literally, this place is a wasteland. There's NOTHING here. And the Giant rock business was NOT a bar. It was a food stand started by George Van Tassel's wife and it was called the Welcome Inn. This USED to be a very holy place revered by the REAL natives But now its a cesspool of trash and OHV's tearing it all up. The integratron is NOTHING like Mr Van tassel intended. It's an over priced new age yuppie ran cash grab Just like everything else out here all the way up to 29 palms. The whole business structure is owned by rich yuppies from LA who care nothing for the community except what they can do to make more money.
Oh don't forget the world best aviation museum great to visit while waiting for flights 😊...This should be your reason #6 to why you want to move to ...opps not to move to Palm Springs 😒....it's so relaxing too...
Palm Springs is okay as long as the power stays on in the water supply doesn't dry up. But if the power went off for several days people out there would actually die in the heat. It's not the place to be if hedin Sunshine actually do make you sick like they do me. And the attractions are all touristy and the shopping is pretty much not very very. I'll high-end stuff
Hate the summer heat that keeps you indoors for several months, and not a fan of hiking in rattlesnake country. Otherwise, I have always liked the overall vibe of Palm Springs.😎
Rattlesnakes technically span the entirety of the continental United States. Summer does get hot, but if you head to the mountains or beach during the worst of it it's tolerable
Really nailed it except for the part about baggage handling at the airport which, in my experience, takes far longer than 5 minutes. My worst was almost an hour with the average being @20 minutes,
Well, what with "Global Warming", "Climate Change", whatever you'd care to call it, the entire planet is heating up---so weather isn't really that much of a factor, these days. On the plus side, the other four reasons are still quite valid. Love the P.S. airport---thinking of applying for work as well as bartending/waitering once I make the move within at least 1-3 years from now. In the meantime, I visit as often as possible; I was just there August of 2021---loved it. Loved the heat; oh, and I flew into the airport for the very first time, (prior to S.W. Airlines opening a hub, I had to fly into Ontario----70 miles away. Definitely did not care for traffic getting to and leaving from P.S.. (And yes, I have been on the glorious 405 during rush-hour---I would have been pulling my hair out if I still had any.) I would so enjoy a reasonably-priced place to own, but like Amtran said, I'll probably be renting----I've been renting all my life---why stop now, eh? It IS Palm Springs. Still, keep me posted, Brett---appreciated your time and your highly-enlightened, (and charming) video. Cheers, mate.
I beg to differ. I live in Coachella Valley and homeless are infiltrating Palm Springs and yes, pooping and peeing on the streets. It is at the beginning stages of what San Francisco currently is. 10 years ago I would have agreed with everything this man said. Not anymore. Quite sad really.
they had a self checkout at the pittsburgh stadium. it’s much much slower than going through a person. not sure about that arena but an over complicated self checkout is annoying when it’s just a bottle of water
Thanks for cleaning off the rocks and desert. ❤The graffiti gets tacky looking but as someone who loves to go out to lovely landers to off road and king of the hammer happens i also photograph so having the desert taken care of is amazing because we do have ppl who just mess it up. 😢
