Mam pytanko syn ma takie autko po osiągnięciu ponad 40km/h zaczyna coś piszczeć tak jak pasek by się ślizgał ale to nie jest to bo wymieniłem może ty będziesz wiedział
that is depressing :-( i have a 2009 Microcar MC1 Campus, and I've had it up to 63MPH (101kph) and a top speed of almost 73MPH (117kph) . There must be a limiter over on the continent ( I live in the UK)
It's the insurance. These things are mostly categorized as wheelchair with a roof, so to say, and if you want the very cheap insurance and the other benefits (no MOT, for example) they are not allowed to drive faster.
Hi Tomasz. I really like your little Microcar. It puts me in the mind of a Geo Metro. I am surprised at the tiny engine. I know they are dreadfully slow at accelerating and don't have a very high top speed, but they do get great fuel mileage. I wonder how long the centrifugal drive belt lasts on the variable speed transmission? Does the heater work well when it's cold outside? Thanks for your video.
+L Moore Welcome. The drive belt keeps a very long time . Heating in winter is quite efficient , even though the glass a little evaporate . That's right, the car accelerates very poorly , but this is not a problem for my mom :)
Was that full throttle you where doing in the video? And what is that squaky sound (or high pitched sound) when you drive? I think it is your gearbox or something that needs oil. Other then those comments, it is a nice microcar you have there. When did you buy it, and How much did you pay for it if i may ask?
So I rode at full speed 65km / h, but the clock is 47km / h. The sound coming out of the gear motor. Transmission is flooded with oil but I think after all the bad shape. We paid for it 9400 PLN/ 2550 USD. :)
