Situated in one of the most diverse communities in Canada, Scarborough Health Network Foundation (formerly Scarborough and Rouge Hospital Foundation) inspires the support necessary to improve patients’ lives through exceptional care at Scarborough Health Network across three hospitals and eight satellite sites. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked with generous donors, volunteers and community members to raise funds needed to build state-of-the-art infrastructure and purchase the latest medical technology, supporting the SHN’s vision to be Canada’s leading community teaching health network.
My legs and knees are good. Can anything be done for weak ankles? Stretch socks help but I can’t wear them for long as they tend to cut circulation down.. I am being treated for a nose flap with cancer at Lawrence now..
I remember hearing this song on the radio more than 20 years ago; back then there was no Shazam, so I never found out what it was actually called. This ad played during the pre-screenings of a movie I watched 2 days ago and I finally found out what the song was called after all this time.
This ad campaign is executed so brilliantly and beautifully, it woulda still been good- but not great -without that music track .....with "These eyes" and the rap words over it, absolutely brilliant, Deserves an award or 10 !!!! I actually got the message, I think, I now care about Scarborough. And the struggle healthcare there has. I didn't so much before. The stats in the ad speak for themselves. And this just underlines our failing Healthcare system (everywhere, including but not limited to Scarborough). A LIttle sad that the thing we are envied for worldwide - our healthcare system- is now barely limping along. I LOVE this campaign, (and no, I am not associated with it in any way, but I wish I was).. I'm actually here to figure out the talent/ song/ download the music from somewhere. Stunning creation. Great work.
Beautiful commercial. I love it would love to download it. Great music choice too. From the scstborough shots, TTC and inside the hospital. It takes me back to PSA's of the late 90s and early 2000's.... good times. Healthcare is difficult, seen it first hand within the ltc division and to this day. Almost always dealing with staff shortages.
Government needs to release some of the funding they're sitting on to healthcare. I have no idea how our healthcare workers do what they do. It's amazing. ❤️
"Community of communities", "diverse", "inclusive", "health equity"! Why does health care need to be politicized? Who authorized the use of our tax dollars to make this woke, "progressive" nonsense? Politics and health care should not mix.
What is the point of this ad? It shows someone on a crowded bus who then goes into a hospital. So what? "Scarborough grit"? This is not the Scarborough i grew up in.
Craig you scumbag! Why dont you tell everyone how you faked your Paramedic certificate and got fired from FlightExec!!! and almost arrested for giving controlled meds when your not even certified!
I spent 47 years as a volunteer at centenary Hosp - SHN. I’m happy to see this campaign for a fair share going forward, we are worth it. Where would Toronto be without us.
