I will make videos on many different topics such as, firearms, fishing, kayaking, boating, camping , motorcycles, archery and any other hobby that I may feel like posting. I follow all laws and regulations while using firearms and while fishing. Thanks for stopping by! I also have a channel that focuses on Music and Art called Cam Gaylor Music. You can find it in my featured channel section.
It's a great looking gun in the two-tone stainless! I like that it has the safety. Quite a few of the modern guns go for the low profile controls, and they can be more difficult to use like the slide release here.
If I had to choose one gun out of my carry rotation I'd choose the Smith 340pd scandium revolver. A 357 ultralite. Easy to carry, handles loads from 38 wadcutter to 357 magnum, and with bianchi speedstrips, extra ammo carries flat in a shirt or pants pocket. When teaching classes for the last thirty years, I reminded students, LE and civilian, that every round had your name engraved on it.
@noHandle1776 I own 2 glock 17s. The guns on the table are the ones that I carry. I own a lot more handguns these are just the ones that I carry. The Springfields are fine
I also mix up my carry gear. I carry my s.w. Wesson 38.scp 5 shot revolver the most a close second is my Taurus 357 poly Protecter 5 shot revolver. My third most carry is my taurus 40 s.w. pistol.
Like I said in the community comments section I would rather carry just one gun but I can't do that and hide it on my body also depending on the time of year and how I am dressed. I am in the process of replacing my micro 9 (SIG P365MS) with a snub revolver (Taurus 856 Defender three inch) and I intend to carry the revolver all the time if I can hide it all the time. I have a lot of practice to do before I get to that point. I shoot autos well but I shoot revolvers better. I agree if at all possible carry the pistol you shoot the best and are most accurate with. When it comes to manual safeties, all my single action striker pistols have manual safeties and I do use them. My DA/SA pistols I don't need a manual safety or don't need to use a manual safety but I can if I want. My favorite sub compact is my Bersa TPR9C although I have no problem carrying the Taurus G2c. Thanks for sharing.
