I don’t like isshinryu simply because of the way you hold a fist it’s definitely a legitimate Okinawa style but still don’t like it. Nothing wrong with it but personally don’t like it
This dojo was off base outside of kadana Air Force base. It was a Okinawa community center and Uechi house is only a few steps away. The old Okinawa gentleman is Yagi and I am sure I spelled his name wrong. Not sure if Lars Andersen remembers me but I was the one giving him a ride back to his hotel at night from Angi Uezu dojo. Good times. May the Lord bless you and your family. God bless.
This was taken at the gym on camp Foster Okinawa Japan. Camp foster is a marine base. Uechi has spent many years teaching and I had the honor of being one of many in a sea of students. He is a very good person and my life is better for having known him. May the Lord bless you and your family in all you do. God bless.
Thanks for the uploader and to the sensei. The students know how to use the tonfas, hardest parts the spinning. Can you please tell me what karate style he is a sensei? There are various styles. Good day.
@@Joshinkan Thank you for responding. I live in the America and trying to find someone close to me to train with. Hope you and yours stay healthy and best wishes. Thank you.
I would love to learn this Kata But it's sooooo Long I wish I could go back to being 17 when I had nothing but time to train. It makes me jelous when you're older.
@@Joshinkan Copenhagen, very nice! Once I was training south of K. with the Japanese National trainer Toshiaki Maeda Sensei 🇯🇵! The Tokai University has in Præstø one of its foreign branches in Denmark! There was the seminar! Yours Juergen Mayer from GERMANY 🇩🇪
Dear Seisan Karate, beautiful Kata video, authentic dojo and good filming! Thank you for subscribing to my channel KARATE TUBE GERMANY 🇩🇪! I returned today the favour! I wanted to comment on your Kobudo videos but it was not possible. GANBATTE! Yours Juergen Mayer from Germany 🇩🇪
Beautifully done. I can see the Master Uezu elements from your lineage. Great focus, power and most of all, balance and breathing. A few small elements I’m not familiar with but that’s expected.
Drum bachi are made in a wide variety of sizes and materials, as appropriate to the drum it will be used to play. A typical bachi is about 22 mm (7/8 inches) in diameter, 400 mm (16 inches) long and made out of a hardwood such as oak. These would be suitable for a wide variety of playing styles.
