The person husking the coconut is struggling due to the excessive height of the blades and the hand-lever. This may be ok for a very tall person, but not for a person of height up to 5' 6'' or so. At the present height of the tool, it becomes difficult to (i) impale the coconut, and (ii) pull the lever. The best tool-height for a person of average height is 45-50 cm.
Can it be possible to convert the mechanism? Instead of pulling to pushing the lever. So the body weight can be transformed into energy and much easier for weak people too.
