Is Gas Huffing still profitable compared to the risk of worm hole day-tripping? I heard gas was not as good now that faction cruisers don't need it anymore. I don't know for sure though.
That is probably the most boiled down (and explicative filled) synopsis of EVE's history that I've heard. Of course, there are some things left out, but that's to be expected. If it was me and I could change one thing, I probably would have framed the Caldari/Gallente conflict a little more squarely around how the Gallente essentially claimed the Caldari homeworld in the name of democracy, after the Caldari setup and hid secret bases from the very federation they helped found, but hey, it wasn't me. You did an excellent job!
i apreciate the fact that you tried, but the game is over 20 years old . you shouldve done a bit more research you assumptions are not incorrect but they are not right. you can make billions but you have to be dilligent.
Yes, you can make billions, but not on day one. I don't want to set new players up for failure by teaching them things are difficult/next to impossible to reproduce.
For the new player, if you do the exploration career agent mission, you will get a free T1 exploration ship and basic (civilian) scanning and hacking modules for free. I recommend doing all 5 career agent mission sets. Very easy way to make a bit of ISK and get several free ships (including Ventures) and basic modules, not to mention the learning experience if you are new. In fact, you can complete all 5 career agent mission sets three times for each empire. This is also a great way to increase rep with the four main empires. You can find the names of the starter systems for each empire on Eve University Wiki by searching career agents and scrolling down to career agent locations.
8:22 I really can't see how stealing moon ore in a venture could be worth doing :/ 5000m3 ore hold, rats keep spawning which you can't fight, you're also defenseless against any neutrals that might come looking for you. Difficulty is hard, not easy, and the income is a lot lower than what you list. Meanwhile, 0 mentions of highsec escalation hunting. e.g. the 3/10 Serpentis Narcotics Warehouse is the easiest way for new players to get that first 100mil ...
Rats don't keep spawning. They spawn periodically. This isn't wave after wave like a combat anom. If you keep your transversal up by orbiting the rock you're mining, most won't apply. Alternatively, you can just warp off and warp back to another rock that's further away. As I said in the video, stealing moon ore is better suited to a group of intrepid YOLO miners rather than a solo miner. Like I said, this is not all the options these are just the ones I'd do. We could spend all day going over potential options for making ISK, but these are just highlighting the ones I would do myself if I could go back and do things over.

It's a feature of the games launcher. Once you launcher one character, you can alt+tab back to the launcher and launch another character. Only works if the characters are on separate accounts *AND* they are Omega.

How much will the drifter escalation actually affect isk per hour? It seems like the time you previously used tanking and attacking the drifter you can now just be moving to the next combat anomaly 1 AU or hole over.
Hmm... I'm a little confused by this one. Combat anomalies in C5 top out at ~200m without the Drifter Response Battleship. The DRB alone is worth ~300m ISK. If you're not killing the Drifter, you're wasting your goddamn time running these sites.
I enjoy many of your uploads, but my favourite is Intro to Weapon Systems. I learned a tonne while watching it! I'd like to see a class on Resource Harvesting. It's an aspect I, personally, would like to learn more about.

I've been playing eve mostly solo and pve since 2007 or so. After watching some of your videos I think I want to try and join eve university and learn to pvp and fly in fleets as well as do some wormholing. Your info is great thank you!
Are combat probes a one time use? Or can you recover them after you deploy them? And if you want to recover them do you have to fly to each one individually and scoop them back up?
Probes are reusable (thank Bob) and there's a button on the probe window that when hovered over says, "recall probes" that will allow you pull them back to you.
