I think that is so cool I grew up right by the south western railroad in New Mexico you are the only RU-vidr to film that railroad besides me and a quick tip hurly nm has a lot of those hurly nm is like the main place for that railroad because there is copper mines by silver city nm .
@@Buuzbros1971 yeah I try to document the last of the SW before it all eventually goes away since that railroad primarily relies on the Freeport McMoran Tyrone and Chino operations for revenue service. The AZER is the same as in a Primary Copper Hauler. I have a playlist of the SW railroad.
@@Buuzbros1971 I know the line from Bayard-chino Hanover Jct-Fierro is all abandoned since there wasn’t need for it after the Mine built a pipeline for Copper Slurry to the Concentrator in Hurley from the mine at chino. From what I was told by a few former SW employees the likely hood of that portion of track being reactive is slim to none after the pipeline goes over the tracks in a few places as well as a mine road covering the Fierro portion of it. Although seeing that portion of railroad active again would be awesome it just all depends on the future of chino mine.
@@citydude5574 It was on the Monday Route of the Neighborhood next the Lomas and Juan Tabo intersections to the SE. the subdivision that’s behind Olive Garden on Juan Tabo BLVD. Although the driver does changes route every so often so he could be in a new area.
Kool video and used to deliver around ABQ back in 2012 during my trucking days never had time to look for the city garbage trucks and did get lucky, would ride the city bus to downtown to get pics of Railrunner trains
Nice catch and I was going to catch in Sweetwater on the Baird Sub,but it rerouted onto the Sunset route to San Antonio due a Eb loaded grain train that derailed in Abilene on the Baird Sub.
