LDCE or Limited Departmental Competitive Examination is a promotional examination for Group ‘C’ employees to join as officers in Group ‘B’ in Railways. As per the recent guidelines from Railway Board 100% Objective type Multiple Choice Questions in the written examinations will be held, as part of Selections and pre-qualifying examination. The pre-qualifying examination will be followed by one descriptive type paper on professional subject comprising of 100 marks. Those candidates who pass the descriptive paper and qualify in the medical examination of prescribed standard will be called for viva voce.
