Turning 50 (now 52) and returning to a hobby from my youth I found that things have moved on a fair bit. The models are better made with much more detail and most of all, like most things in the 21st century, it's all gone digital. The UK is dominated by just one brand and while I've nothing against them, the track and digital system is not my system of choice. This isn't just another slot car channel, I don't intend to do endless videos showing you all the things all the other channels show you. I like Carrera track and their digital system and while the availability of it isn't as good in the UK as the main brand, and the cost is a little higher, I thing the rewards for that extra money and effort required to get a Carrera system together is more than compensated for by the product and the racing it produces.
