If you are a beginner at rod building it is difficult to find answers to simple questions like what thread size should I use on a feeder rod. This video gave me the answer. Thank you.
The question is, do they have the same surface roughness? Basically I'm asking if you made the SIC a little rougher purposely? I think it's all marketing BS, if you polish both of them with the same surface roughness, for the same weight of the guides, I highly doubt they will have this huge difference.

Hi like the viz.. But if i have a white Glassblank i still need to apply a first epoxy coat with white Pigments? Or can i just apply a clear epoxycoat and starting with the marbeling? Thx
How do you remove the chuck on the new chuck at the housing I got an extra one and it looks like the tail stock I might can change it over If I can buy the parts either from you guys or someone else

Fuji SIC guides are the best, no doubt about it. Daiwa has designed Seaguide TDG guides fitted to the Daiwa Tournament SLR rod that retails at around £500. An absolutely insane price for a rod with stainless steel guides that could melt your line if you hooked a half decent sized fish.
is there a video tutorial on selecting the correct size reel seat and front and back grips, where you take your measurement for the reel seat if the butt section is slightly tapered. Do you measure the bottom of the rod or take it where you want to mount to seat.
The only ring that would experience this angle would be the top guide. I'm more concerned about ceramic rings that are too brittle and crack or do not reliably stay in the seat when knocked around, so I look for more metal in contact with the ceramic ring for running guides and buy the best quality top guide I can afford.
Ok this is one of da easiest videos ive seen 2 replace eyes.i was going buy a surf rod n reel but they r not cheap so now im just going strip da eyes of a 8ft catfish combo i got frm walmart n replace da 7 eyes wit 3 big ones.great video easy steps alsome!
Wish you explained what you were doing a bit more. Actual steps or like, just a better explanation. What threads go on what side of the others. You just kinda go and then it's almost done.
