It's a very interesting history with this building, and there's a standing maintenance agreement with the local village that goes back a few hundred years, and just needs to be ratified. As far as Canon Law and Estate Law go, you couldn't ask for a better cornerstone to protect your fortune, ratify ancient banking privilages and set your property outside the legal jurisdiction of French National Law.
So nice to see a well restored chateau instead of an over restored and hypermodernised chateau. Wooden windows and ceilings, stone walls, old ceramic floors. We do not own such places, we can be only keepers to leave them to the next generations so we must keep them as authentic as possible

Castle? A very big squarred farm opportunatively restored. Brits read the GIEC reports and they are leaving south west france they invaded (pacifically!) 30 or 20 years ago. Now they are looking for north central "massif central" and the bocage normand or bretagne. Funny...

Quel magnifique château authentique! Et une excellente caméra, nous montrant l'essentiel (ce qui n'est pas facile, car tout est beau, original dans ce château, où l'authenticité est sauvegardée)! Nous imaginons qu' il a déjà trouvé son nouveau propriétaire...? Sinon, faites-nous signe......!
Il a ete restauré superficiellement en tous cas. Ce pays est rempli de ce genre de petits tresors... Discretement noyé ds des ecrins de verdure. Qd on bosse ds cette branche de l immobilier on en prend mieux conscience.
