All I had on hand was some yarn. Remove each clip and wrapped the yarn around the gap 1-1/2 times and inserted it back into the panel. All the white pieces are now secure and rattle free.
These white clips are actually Obtanium listed but when asking the service centre it should be possible to score a bag of them if missing them or for later.
I have a rattle coming from my right rear passenger roof where the light is. As far as I can tell, a screw came loose. I don’t know how to take the cover off. So I try to reach it with my fingers but just can’t get to it
I solved the back seat noise. On my car, it was because the backrests were not well maintained in contact with the trunk structure. Just fold both seats and put some foam horizontally between the structure and the back cover. It will push the backrests forward, avoiding them to move, which causes the noise.
I had the same thing! It was the passenger head rear seat head thing! It wasn’t pushed down all the way and would make noise! It was killing me. Hopefully that helps
I see you have the newer Model Y with the giant HEPA filter system. Tesla Service is now offering to retrofit the older models made before mid 2021 for $300. This includes a software update for the HEPA menu options.
You can get online eBay or Amazon, or home Depot? Other than that I guess you can buy smaller or thinner option then double the layers when you insert them
I thought the front rattling noise was on the inside where the front dash speaker was. So is that not the case or is it really on the frunk? If that is the case, this is a much easier fix than trying to remove the front speaker grill area. Can you do a test drive to see how the sound looks like now with these fixes?
Hello, you can try to tap on the intake cover see if it rattles. My rattle noise in the front is gone now. Really depends on how tight fit the car was assembled. Overtime they can become loose since it's all plastic.
