Gen 5 uses a slightly different frame geometry plus the addition of hte ambidextrous slide stops - Safariland has a holster-selector on their website that will tell you what holsters fit your gun.
@@SasquatchTX thank you for the response hahaha. I was about to go into the police academy and I bought a glock 19 holster for a glock 17 so of course it didn’t fit 😅 thank you for taking the time out of your day to respond tho!
2:03 can you remove the deflector? I like reviews like this a lot since they are more honest and straight forward unlike some other you tubers that are trying to make money off people buying products through affiliate links. Which isn’t an issue but sometimes they push the products just so they can make some money from it.
Hopefully you found your answer already - but any 6000 or 7000 series holster should fit on any of the current attachment hardware - belt or leg. The old 2-hole attachments won't fit the new stuff - but you're talking old designs like the 070 and earlier. I don't think any of the 6000 series holsters were two-hole belt loop style. You can switch them from drop leg to any of the UBL versions (low, mid, high, or the variable ride) or QLS with the proper hardware.
I have one of these with the safariland leather laminate for a sig sauer 226 without the weapon mounted light. Too bad they don't make them like this anymore. Its all plastic now.
How about using a heat gun & pushing in on both outside sides with a piece of round stock to bend in & take up a few mm of internal diameter? That should make a tighter fit.
so the double mag pouch would not have the same problem you figure then? Also you could try using some superglue to keep something in against the back on the two outside mags so on a range day you dont have to keep picking up your pieces of paper
manuel santiago contact safariland to be sure but i know serpa m&p holsters will fit the sigma series smith and wessons not sure if safariland is the same. your pistol is also very similar to a glock so it might fit a glock holster
I have a brand new 6390 and it's so tight that I have a hard time holstering and unholstering my pistol did you run into that problem even the als gets jammed
@@mustardman5366 goodmorning. I finally bought the sfariland 7ts serie with light, because the 6360 holster wasn't the best option with olight Valerie.i tested it.
Just a thought, but I'm wondering if the unit could withstand a simple relief cut down the front of the middle holder to relieve the excessive tension there on that mag? It's a good system and I am considering runningbthis relief cut test on a sacrificial unit.
