I don’t took this little machine apart 3-4 times and nothing worked…..only to find out when using bottled or purified water it has no or not enough minerals to activate the sensor. Answer : use a pinch of salt not a lot to the point you taste it in the water or ice then swirl it around in the machine and it should work.
Don't blame Christians for the holocaust. Nazi's were pagans. The Catholic church was silent because they have been adopting pagan rituals from the start. See, Catholicism is NOT Christianity. It is pagan.
Did not work for me. But I did add some salt and a bunch of vinegar. Then I got a long straw and blew air into the mesh type port inside the unit in the bottom. Then I blew some vinegar from a straw into the port to force the vinegar in the system. Restarted a few times -- then it started working. ~~~ I'm pretty sure hard water does not do well for the machine. And our machine has been used less than a half-dozen times and it's very clean. I clean it and put it away in the original box & Styrofoam forms every time. --- So MAYBE my clues will help someone.
Judging by the glasses I’m guessing the one in the middle is supposed to be Sister Catherine though I don’t recall her being in this scene in the actual film
Remove the sensor and use some Sandpaper to scrub it from top to bottom all around and Put it back And this should work with no problem. I fixed them all the time. PS The sensor looks Like it was made from a paper clip.
You sir, are a hero. Bought a cheap IONCHILL from Walmart, same issue, worked for a day, then the dreaded red light of doom. While I didn't have any simple salt, (I'm camping) I did have electrolyte pills. Chopped a small bit of off one pill, swirled it into the water and bammo! Works like a charm now. Yeah! (Angels are singing on high!)
This is the sound I’ve been hunting for!! Thank you for the video and the responses that provide the replacement part number and basics on how to fix. Sounds a little like a typewriter or sewing machine.
I had the same issue with my 1 year old machine. I used the "salt trick" and it worked. But after cleaning the machine, running several cycles and having it standing idle for over an hour with "SnowPlow" in the system it worked again without the "salt trick". So sometime using a professional cleaning fluid will also do the job if you have this problem on an older machine.
Salt worked the the first push of the button. Wouldn’t have thought but it did. I use filtered water so there must not be enough minerals in it for the sensor to register.
I'm amazed that the little pin could detect minerals, but hey, the salt trick worked for me too. My machine is euhomy and not even their customer service had that suggestion!!! Thanks for posting
Ok so I thought the salt thing was a troll post. Added salt and the dam thing worked just had to turn it on and off to let it cycle through the line twice. Put in some vinegar to help clean it out . Works fine now.
Literally, before disassembling it, i add salt (pink salt, maybe 8 rocks") and tried it- first attempt, Worked! I had been trying to troubleshoot the machine for the last 5 days. Summary: Salt Resolved
As morbid as it is, i just cant blame the nun, she killed a nazi, a NAZI!!! Those guys, commited HORRID war crimes that are nightmare fuel!! If i could, id give her a medal and buy her a drink for ridding the world of a monster!!
Sunday 15th May 2022. Maria is my favourite Charatcer in The Sound of Music. As for Rolf here he got what he deserved! He did betray them after all. ❤ Virginia.?! ;) ;( :) 😀🐦🎵🐴
I have a Newair brand. Girly new too. Same thing. Was getting add water light. Literally added a pinch of salt and it worked. Distilled water is too pure for these sensors.
