Definitely not the “mOsT inSAnE TakEOfF”, real fpv drones are a lot faster cheaper and more durable, this drone is waste of money, ask anyone with actual experience in the hobby.
I bought the fpv when it first came out . Still have it . Works like new , never crash it . ….. and have never used it in manual mode ! Hard to believe my drone can do this too!
Insane. Dude. I thought it was just whipping out of control, but you had that on point that is amazing that you were doing this with that specific drone. People hate it so much. There’s a thing it’s not a 5 inch quad basically a motherboard with a battery on it so of course it’s not gonna do what those little things will do. Different beasts.
Well this doesn't help you now but I have a Samsung Galaxy tag. You can mount that or glue it onto your drones so when it crashes you can just track the tag. As of right now your best bet is to check the ground as best you can before fall and then go back after the leaves drop if you haven't found it yet and search in the trees. Always search a large area even if you don't think it's possible for the drone to be there.
Yea, I think they missed a big opportunity to build something that could be tracked after the battery is dead. Any violent impacts will likely force the battery out and then you can't even track it. That's probably my biggest dislike.
On my very first flight with my FPV one and a half minutes in computer system overheated on board the drone it shut down and fell 300 feet to the ground, destroying it. Currently working with DJI to resolve the problem.
@@ActionArtsDigital ah yes another reason dji "fpv" is terrible. You should get a real drone so if it drops from 100 feet you dont need to wait weeks for parts and even if it did it would be a $20 and 10 minute repair
@@ActionArtsDigital yeah after waiting days or even weeks when you very easily could have something way better with the same video system that can be done within minutes at the field. Terrible drone as a fpv drone. Only good for mavic pilots lol
Your negativity is pathetic. If you like other drones, go praise them elsewhere. Don’t come here to sh*t on what others enjoy and spend their money on. Get a life. Gfys lmao 🤣
Check the description of this video or a newer one. I have a link, and they usually have a used one. There's also a link to a cc and if you sign up you get 200$back when you use it to make the purchase.
Not sure you’ll see this but I’ve got one of these drones in my shopping cart online. If it’s been activated what does that mean to the person purchasing? Can they still use?
To legally fly these fast little drones, you need to register with the FAA. If you're buying a pre-owned drone, the previous owner needs to unregister it first. If they don't, and you try to register it, you might get an error and need to contact the FAA for help. While buying used isn't a bad idea, you might face some challenges if the drone is already registered. I have a link in my description to one of the cheapest new DJI drones I found online. They also offer gently used drones, and if any registration issues come up, you can return it. I'm not sure how reliable the seller you're looking at is, but I hope this helps!
Great performance! I bought the avata 2, it's not bad, but it's not as good as dji fpv, I think. I am planning to move on to open source racing drones. But I need to learn more first :D
If you can afford it, it was easier to learn by setting it up, rather than learning before hand. At least that's how it was for me. It can feel like a lot of work and it is in comparison to the DJI models. I didn't like it as much. I might give it another try someday. I have one traditional drone and it is a smaller 2 inch. It is a good time. Camera is broken right now though after crash. One thing I've learned is that I fly reckless with the traditional because it can handle it but I end up breaking more parts. So, imo, the DJI FPV is the drone for me. No rebuilding, no programming, just flight. And that's what it's really all about, am I right?
@@ActionArtsDigital you're absolutely right, what I meant by open source, something that's already built and set up already, like Speedybee, they have both analog and digital, but because I have dji goggles 3, I have to wait for dji O4 unit with soeedybee. What I don't like about my avata 2, except for the propellers, nothing else seems to be replaceable. I have already replaced the 4 props as they broke during multiple crashes. With speedybee, or similar, I can replace stuff. Thanks for your kind input.
Any tips on the lift off in manual mode with the goggles on? I can only do it with the goggles off until the drone is in the air, I don't have issues after that.
My best advice would be to over throttle and get it off the ground. That gives you some room to work with and gather yourself. You want to be careful because the left stick will also move it. If you are worried, keep your finger on the mode switch and flip into normal mode if you get disoriented. If you have access to the simulator I would suggest this for practice. It is nearly 1:1 replica of the real thing.
@@ActionArtsDigital I can take off with using the simulator with no issues, but I think your tip of more initial throttle might solve my issues! I will try it next, I know I am responsible for it, but definitely worth a try, thank you so much 🙏
@@ActionArtsDigital the more throttle worked!!!! I finally get it up in the air with the goggles on, thanks to your excellent advice! But I tried to understand why I didn't get it right before, it turns out little throttle make the props spin with different torques, that's why in this condition the drone tries to flip to one side. But with enough throttle, they all spin with almost similar torque and require very little to guide it up in the air. Thank you so much!
no buddy, this drone is stock and I fly the drone as it comes out of the box. The only changes I make are the color settings and the settings needed to go full manual mode. I have also upgraded my stix. They are extendable and over an inch long at it's shortest length.
@@ActionArtsDigital 👌🏽🙏🏼 Likewise. I mean, i feel the same way even with my old Mavic Air 2, but since i got the avata 2 ive been loving the different pace. Its cool to go faster... But that FPV is definitely a different beast of its own.
@@ActionArtsDigital lol by whole body I mean stealing my brothers four wheeler when he got off it for 5 sec and hitting a stump/rock and flying off it with enough speed to die if I didn't go thru the tiny gap in the trees... At 3.. Ya.
One crash and it’s over lol. Nice flying tho hey. Well done. I have just started flying my potato in acro. So much better. I have other FPV quads I use to bash round but I won’t fly the potato like you do lol. I use it for careful cruising. Cheers. It’s cool to have video feed to your iPad. That’s another reason I like your quad
