Isaac: My old man found a stick and thought it has magic powers 🤣 So I've thrown the stick into the water, to make it a boat, and to show to my dad it's just a regular stick. And he experienced little crisis, and cried, oh no what have you done to the magic stick? And I thought, oh great, now he's crying over the random stick he found on the path. And then he found another one and thought this one is magical too 🤣 He's getting old.

So, young mum, don't worry and don't get frustrated your toddler didn't follow your instructions 😁 I'd follow and build and break with him together, remembering small children know what they want to learn/exercise at the particular moment. Even if for adult that's sooooo stupid, that's actual skill that creates basis for more complex skills. Exercise breaking, when they want to. Observe your child and facilitate their activity. These games are to help parents to figure out how simple and creative such activity can be. But not necessarily to follow everything dot-by-dot, and not to get angry when little one doesn't follow🤣 Interaction between you two is the actual goal🏌♂
Mine refuses and i do it just like this. He tells me no or go away. He shows signs he s ready for potty training. But just dont wanna try. I have potty trained my 3 daughters but my only son is refusing. Hes 4
This is a bit over the top. You don’t have to throw diapers in the trash either! Go donate them. I’ve done the 3 day method and I didn’t have to take 2 weeks off work. I watched a different video that was more helpful, not over the top and results worked.

Children learn by observation, I had two boys and they learned by observing the potty bowl , my first son wanted to go potty and there was the potty sit, he just went and sat on and went all by himself, the other one was two years old and picked it up real fast, I didn't have to show him nothing, it was a plus for me. I believe that children learn by speaking and explaining to them. The mind has to process first, you see the brain is the one that tells you it's time to go potty.

FYI: The history on “Elmer” dates back to the 1950’s when YNP did not have garbage dumpsters and there was a large area for the park “dump.” The dump drew bears to forage for food and people would walk to see them. One really large bear got named “Elmer” so calling “Elmer” into the campsite at dusk started a tradition that has lasted decades. Our family has camped there since the 1950’s.
