Against a beautiful backdrop of open farmland on the edge of Crosby, Liverpool, Northern’s acres provide the setting for playing and watching cricket, with three pitches maintained to the highest standards by a full-time groundsman. With 6 Men’s teams, 2 Women’s teams, and a thriving junior section, Northern were named Lancashire Cricket Foundation Club of the Year in 2019. Part of a wider multi-sports club, the Northern also has a strong and vibrant Squash and Racquetball section, both men’s and women’s hockey and two high quality bowling greens with an active membership. Northern are founder members of the Liverpool Cricket Competition (L&DCC) and have been at the forefront of Merseyside cricket since 1859.
