wtf??? he didn't really avoid anyone. people jsut have a tendency to jump out of the way of a moving car. yes, he did some swerving to follow the path that came up but that's it. if people think this takes some extraordinary driving skill the clearly don't have a drivers license OR they definitly shouldn't have one
I remember seeing this live, and commenting how Italian fans are crazy to my dad. It was extremely lucky break that the steering was perfect at the time.
In a dramatic and dangerous incident during the 2000 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Michael Schumacher narrowly avoided a potentially catastrophic collision with fans. The event unfolded when a group of spectators inexplicably breached the security barriers and invaded the track. Schumacher, who was racing for Ferrari at the time, demonstrated his exceptional driving skills and quick reflexes by swerving and braking to avoid hitting the intruders. The incident occurred during a pivotal moment of the race, adding to the tension and drama of the event. The track invasion led to immediate concerns about the safety protocols at the circuit. It highlighted the need for stringent measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the race continued, with Schumacher eventually finishing in second place. The 2000 Italian Grand Prix remains a memorable race, not only for Schumacher's impressive performance but also for the shocking track invasion that could have had dire consequences.
We were still animals a few years ago .. the world is old but we are young as a society .. still a lot to go before we separate from the animal instincts of our ancestors
