We sail fossil free around the world on Sustainable Yacht the 'Ya'. It is nice, comfortable, safer and easy. It is not expensive, it is a different life. The way of life feels better, it is more balanced with the envireonment, or if you want, with Mother Earth. Also in th ethical sense it feels better. It is better for the next generations and all the people in the world with lesser opportunities than we already had from the moment we were born.
Americans have a talent for shallowness. So much to comprehend here in Suriname, but witnessed only by the blind. This is why, when I operated safaris, I completely banned middle-aged American women. Insufferable, insular, and incapable of learning from outside their tiny American square.
I'm not against electric and solar. Just very sad at how easily people are fools to it. Happily ignoring lithium mines and dreaming that a coastline full of rusting windmills is better than burning coal. Climate Hoax is a very old and played out politicians game to make them wealthy and control where and how your money goes into thier pockets.

This is so inspiring. After years following so many sailing channels, I accidentally came across Ya. I can’t believe my eyes the level of innovation. Please make a tour video, particularly the interior. Myself and so many would like to understand how on earth you manage to make those hull windows going through the entire length. Whilst you probably can’t disclose much for the patent, at least some info. It’s great, we don’t need a deck saloon, we don’t have wind wage, we are more efficient. Congrats and looking forward to more yacht tour videos.

We use only equipment that only uses the energy it needs and that saves about 80% of energy. The real innovation starts between the ears. This way, we live comfortably and fossil free. Dear Becky, this sounds good! We traveled up to the nature park, but you can go up to Janjanbureh (in OPenCPN 'Georgetown'). If you want I can email you our anchor spots in gpx format, easy to import in your own OpenCPN, then send a mail to info@fossilfreearoundtheworld.org. In these spot- descriptions I also wrote names and tel.nrs of people who can help you, or vice versa. Like the people on the videos. In general, you never pay harbour money, but they really need stuff, especially now with COVID. It doesnot feel good to get the free place from the poor, and pay a lot to marinas who are rich. So in the Canary Islands we bought school stuff (they always need paper and pens to write), reading glasses, en little garden tools. We gave them away in Gambia to the schools. grtz Peter
