@@vandemmfg thanks guys. Checking it out now. I'll try meet you guys next month but so sweet to see this activity with lush and vandem. Big Up guy, wanna see you all soon again. Stay lovely as always. Big love from me, catch you all soon! ❤❤❤
*If loose trucks feel unstable, put harder bushings in, especially in the back truck, try a Venom freeride on board side in back truck, narrow end into hanger for more turn, wider end for more stability* 🤙🏽🤟🏽🤙🏽 Loose truck with harder bushings is better than tight trucks with softer bushings.
@@paullinga I wish we could set it up and take it for a razz!! Jeff from Pantheon has some videos of it in action, have a look and you'll see how silky smooth it pumps 🤙
Owain you weren't just involved mate, you were running the show!!! You and Jack competing hard for most metres skated throughout the day! Love it. Thanks for bringing the energy.
What happened the the lush machine 3D concave? Getting back into skating and that was my dream board but never got it, its a shame its not still floating around
@vandemmfg hey lush crew yeah long time haven't skated in a long time but recently been getting back into it on my custome board I have at home but machine was legendary, what happened if you don't mind me asking. Back in the UK now so have to pop in and catch up with youlot again soon. I'll check out what you suggested, my custome deck is pretty nice just got a w concave so not the most comfy for pushing around but good on hills (even though have hit any as of yet, lush UK weather hey haha) but definitely need some new grip if anything, once I start working again and have some cash behind me I'll come see you lot. Shop look great from what I've seen in vids and photos, glad you're still up and running ✌️☺️👍
Very helpful lil vid. Thank you so much. Nice to see a UK vid too. Interested to know why you didn't include Penny Boards. I'm completely new to all this so would like to know what to avoid as well as what to be looking out for. Many thanks :)
Thanks!! Penny Boards are barely bigger than a rollerskate, with cheap-as-possible components, no griptape, and made of plastic. They barely lean, turn or roll and they're almost impossible to skate for someone who knows what they're doing, yet alone a beginner. Best avoided!
@@vandemmfg Tres interesante. Thank you. I was considering the 32"x8.5" Penny board which is 2.5kg and then upgrading the trucks and wheels. Lots of places claim that Pennys are lighter than regular boards so I thought lighter would be better for my commuting needs. However, I found some similar sized regular boards and their weights range from 2.38 to 2.65 kg. So really, the only reason that Pennys are "lighter" is because the iconic mini-boards are so small. What a swiz eh? And yes, with my UK size 14 feet, the iconic Pennys would literally be roller-skates XD ... Cheers for the help :)
hi!! i'm looking for a board to cruise around the campus and not really aiming for tricks should i get globe 26 inch blazer or 35 inch all the time skewered complete longboard? i'm super confused 😢
I'd recommend something like our Nomad Gazer for you - great for nipping around town and campus, it will fit behind your backpack :) vandemlongboardshop.co.uk/products/lush-longboards-nomad-gazer
That depends on 1) how tall you are and 2) how long will you use it outside campus. If you're under 5'10" and only inside campus, get the shorter one. If you plan on longer rides and are taller than 5'10", get the longer one.
Yes we absolutely do! It's a great option if you're not going to skate switch at all. It's more stable overall with the split angle - the turn comes more from the front and the back follows along more. It is also much better for pumping, and actually generally feels super turny yet stable...and really good!
Love this board, great for cruising around town, hitting hills and sliding. I’m no expert. Got back on this after 15years of no Longboarding. Love it. Get one 😁
Not at all! The small size and wheelbase make it feel really lively and agile for a drop-through. While it's obviously got less standing platform than the Freebyrd, its more than enough for an adult to cruise and pump around on in comfort 🤙
@@DrRepper Normally yes, but not this week sorry! Monday-Wednesday-Friday are good bets over winter. Feel free to give us a shout 01179332833 to double check if you've got time.
