The Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) is responsible for regulating the Queensland liquor and gaming industry in a way compatible with minimising harm cause by these products and, maintaining the integrity and probity of the gaming industry in Queensland, and ensure that, on balance, the state and community benefits from gambling.
The OLGR consists of the Office of the Executive Director, the Organisational Services Branch, the Licensing Division and the Compliance Division. The policy, legislative functions and research functions are the responsibility of the Office of Regulatory Policy.
