One of my all time favorite Wilco songs. I was so happy to see it included on the YHF Super Deluxe edition, but wish it was streaming so everyone could appreciate its magic.
someone asked jeff about this song in his pop up / chit chat check in at solid sound. he said it was not his story but that of someone else that he met. he ended his remarks with a positive note that the person he was thinking of when writing this was convinced he would reconcile with his Dad in the afterworld. Nice way to think about it whether you are religious or not. the energy of reconciliation and forgiveness is lovely
Thank you so much for capturing this moment. This song means so much to Jeff. I think it says a ton about his journey to recovery to hear him FINALLY sing it live. And I will add this - completely vulnerable, no one else, just him and his guitar, so beautiful. RIP Jay.
Man I have an f’in grin from ear to ear after finding & hearing this. Just happen to have been at this show & it was twice as good as it sounds. Jeff & the band were having a blast. Only downside was S-K came on early, got no respect from the crowd or the sound engineers. Funny that 20 yrs later I’ve seem them on tour together again. Thanks again for posting

Last month I saw her and her band open for The Old Crow Medicine Show at The Sand Mountain Amphitheatre and they performed this song beautifully! I had hit my vape a few many too times and it got intense 😅😅😅 overall it was an incredible experience though!!

Hello CP/Dylan fans- Was able to see this tour last Sat in Napa, and was concerned about being them well into a tour. This was defintaley one of many highlights. Great backing band that really has CP back!
