I found one of his awards in a thrift store.. It's inscribed on a Steiff Pewter Revere Reproduction Footed Bowl. It was a Reading Aviation Award. For High Standards of Excellence in Aircraft Maintenance and Equipment. Best of Class IX. Presented to CLIFF ROBERTSON. Reading, Pennsylvania. June 10, 1976
I remember when they set up the little airport just west of the Kincheloe house in Cassopolis. Then later south of the white barn at my place on Esther’s. When my sister Jean and I were little kids, we would walk across the field and get free airplane rides. Carl Kincheloe’s dad was either half-Indian or full-Indian. It was so fun watching Carl fly over the farm. We kids at Penn School enjoyed watching Kinch fly real low over the farm. One time his mother Frances told the story about how many times she was out dragging with a Farmall tractor, and he would scoop down with a jet to her back and fly very low and surprise her.

You're definitely a brother from a different mother!!! As you said, the interest started as a child. I wish I could get more kids interested, but sadly, far too many parents are more interested in making their kid the next sports jock.
G'day from Australia, I love your channel Josh. Great ideas and well presented. I think your personal wittness is also good to see. You strike the right balance there brother. A strong faith but not preachy. I have an idea which you might have done before. It's a model that takes off in the normal configeration but lands as a canard. Christine is a great asset to the manufacturing department here a NASA Glenn, and a wonderful person. I call her Baby Girl because she was only 18 years old when she arrived at NASA with a very strong set of skills. CONGRATULATIONS BABY GIRL!
