We are Tim and Mandy and we love getting out into the hills so we thought we would keep a record of some beautiful moments that we have spent in God's wonderful creation. It's good to share...
Hi, thank you for the video. I have a similar stove and an oztent RV4. Iam thinking of setting it up the same way. I'm wondering about support. Do you need to guy out the stove pipe to be assured it's going to stay? Thanks!
Great video and conversation. I’m looking at building another camper. I’ve got a L4H2 Citroen relay. It’s great but I’ve always had defenders. And the thought of having an ambulance conversation. Mmmmm It’s got to happen 😂 Could you let me know who raised the roof and the cost of it. Also what is the total wieght of the landycamper Thanks Kevin
I watched this 4 years ago, and decided I was getting a Bongo; hadn't heard of them until a few days earlier. I've had 4 years of joy with my Bongo thanks to this. Cheers.
I started following you two over 7 years ago when you had your Bongo (I still have mine) great to see you both fit and well and looking no older. Regards AJ
Hello Tim/Mandy, Firstly thank you very much for such informative and inspiring videos. The words "life's too short" often help me to get back on track with the search for a future 'home on wheels' when at times the obstacles appear rather too many and insurmountable. If you would be so kind as to let me know what has happened to "Betsy", and how after years of van living the Hymer compares to all the other vans past and present you have known. I am currently contemplating a 1997 S660 Hymer but as a total novice to motor homes your insight would be highly valued, thank you. Best wishes to you both.
What an amazing conversion. You’ve come a long way from your Mazda bongo. Great to see you’re making new vlogs as I really enjoy your content. Looking forward to your adventures in the new van.
What a fantastic conversion you had done and that Landy is well suited to our rather changeable weather and roads up here in Scotland. Hope you have many happy travels in it and look forward to seeing the vids.
Pat on the back for Paul 👏what a job that is Tim looking very impressive mate! Good to see you Mandy and wee(big now) jess back on YT again. All the very best for 2024 Tim cant wait for more of your brilliant vids. Take care mate, peter :)))
Hiya Kenny! its been a while lol! we are still living full time in the hymer for now, we have some plans for the future that hopefully one day will come off. Thanks for getting in touch my friend :) Tim/Mandy
Hey Tim great to see you & Mandy doing well.. what a fantastic conversion that is..its a familiar thing tbh as my dad about 20 year ago had one of those & converted it..he along with several friends those in the old army forward controls as they called them did 3 week around Iceland in them.. Looked like you were parked at the top of Appleby Cross there? Me & kerry did the nc500 last year absolutely loved it & loved it that much were going back this year.. Did it in a roof tent on the car last year but I'm currently converting my own van at the moment a vauxhall vivaro lwb..looking forward to it & cant wait to start using it.. Anyways take care mate & all the best..Andy..
Hi Andrew thanks for your comment buddy. Sounds to me like you had one cool dad!. We still go up to Castleton for a night in the van, getting crowded out now lol, but Scotland like yourself is so so special. We wanted to do a real test of the landrover over pass of the cattle and sleep on top in winter conditions and it was toasty warm. Take care buddy and may you and Kerry have many more trips to the west coast :) Tim/Mandy
Brilliant guys thanks for that. We love our wild (Campervan) camping and due to have a look at Mam Tor this week on our way to Scotland and the western Isles. But hoping for a couple of nights where you were. Unless it snows! thanks for the warning. Loved the bit at the beggining with the music. We try to make vids like that. Graham and Ellie 👍..just subscribed.
I just overhaul the bongo cooling system every so often and no issues, regarding mpg, its pretty good when you consider its also your holiday home, where you cook etc etc....
It's so sad to see the state of the road today. Fifty years ago this village was wonderful, there was local people living here and it was a lovely peaceful village. I worked at the Nag's Head when it was a beautiful hotel. So many slobs or weekend wankers as I call them, turn up here and make it a shithole for two days a week.
I now have the chance to buy a hymer s555. The condition is very good and it costs 20.000.- it is in switzerland. The year is 1994. I don't know but I would like to buy it.
Great review of a lovely camera. I have a 35SP love it to bits, I should really use it more I'm never disappointed with the results It's featured a few times on my chan, but not for ages, I need to change that soon. Liked and subbed.
At 12:56 you can see that the front passenger seat is turned 180 degrees. Can you tell me if in some video you can see in more detail the details of the seat reversal mechanism?
Pull, don't push, when trying to move bolts. Use WD40 first to lubricate, give it a couple of minutes and it'll all be easier. Stable door and bolted horse I know, but for future viewers . . . Thanks for sharing 😊
Hi Tim and Mandy hope you are well , I am in the process of selling my house and looking to buy a Hymer like yours, what can you say about it now it's been a couple of years later? peace and Love 🙏
