yeah! Actually it eventually grew a pad with mixed color of green and red. But I lost it when we had a typhoon and my garden roof broke. I'm planning on recreating this on different cactus. Do you like the idea?

@@ismatnabila The liquid one I use a locally produced here in our place, I dont think it's availavle outside the country. But starkle g, a granules pesticide could be available internationally. But if not, you can ask your local plant store the best one for cactus and succulents :)

My lithops died after 3 years. Because of the rain in Kerala. I took care of it for 3 years, and the past 3 years, it had no issues. I only had 1 lithop and it was like a pet to me. People would find it silly, but it was my emotional support too. 💔

Would it be beneficial to keep it in the dark to develop a few green branches and then place the white plant (with some green) in full sun? Hypothetically, wouldn’t some chlorophyll boost growth of the white parts too?
@@hiddendragon95 you are right. Keeping it away from the sun returns it to green. Exposing it to the sun makes it even whiter. It's a form of sun stress which is common in succulent plants Like an echeveria turning green when away from the sun, and turning red when exposed to full sun
I have a lot of elongated pads i will be removing - can any of them be used for new plant? I mean, can they be used despite their shape, is that somehow fixable?
@@anne_vvv yes they can be planted and when exposed to full sun, new growth will not be elongated It can be potted deeper to cover up its shape :) thanks for watching!
@@princescott that will work too :) I find it difficult in this rootstock. But on a cylindrical rootstock I think its easier. I'm gonna make a video of that, thanks for the input :)
