@@mclarensuniverse But these higher-pitched are old units and I don't know are any of them working anymore in the city of Lappeenranta, the last working ones what I know were located at Sammonlahti and Huhtiniemi. Around 4 years ago here was more of them, but also many of them were abandoned already around 2018-2019. All of them are either completely removed or still in place but not in use.

It is both really. It uses a chopper disk with 4 holes in it which looks very similar to a Chrysler’s chopper and a 4 hole stator to direct the sound into 4 large horns that are inside the siren’s head, and the chopper gets supercharged with air from compressed air tanks which makes the siren loud as hell similar to a Thunderbolt but just without a roots blower

Oh man I can’t get enough of that wind down. I feel like this is louder than a Cyclone since the whole street shook lol. A Cyclone would only shake the ground about 50 feet from it, maybe a bit from 100 feet too
@@jessetujula I bet. It is just weird that they called the Cyclone the loudest omnidirectional siren. The larger Whelens like the 2810 and 2910 are louder than a cyclone
