It may have been built in '88 but the car was officially an '89. I know because I bought a brand new one just like this white one only with a red interior new off the show room floor in 1989 for $16,500.
York (in CZ) is part of the company family tree of the Wilton vises that are super sought after in America. It's the same design. You have a very good vise there.
