Let me tell you a true story that I didn't think about until 4 years ago. When my first born son was 2 and a half years old, he was helping me fold clothes and said to me, when I get older I am going to make many babies/children and you are going to take care of them. Many years later my 2nd born daughter child when she was a little over a year old, suddenly started calling me Manu. Being their Mother I still think of this as I am now estranged from my son and not my daughter.

The end never justified the means. People tend to polish their religion from any blemish. Why Khrisna got anger against Yudhistira for adding 'the elephant' or why he told Arjuna to shoot armless Karna. But one can't helped it to defend their beliefs because it has existential consequences on their belief system. No Muslims would be able to question sahaba or the prophet. Similarly no Christians would be able to ask why Paul cursed Alexander the Blacksmith or why Jesus insulted the Syro-Phonecian woman calling her as dog. These questions and their defense are existential. When it's existential then no criticism is possible. Impressive observation. I didn't know before that in Hinduism you can question Khrisna or Rama.
Sexuality is just a part of the human condition. If one achieves liberation, they will not have anyone to condemn. There is no freedom in hating others. You will be just be imprisoned for longer. ^-^

I highly recommend Swami Dayananda's commentary on the Geeta..it is available as a Home Study course and runs into nine volumes. BTW Swamiji was a Disciple of Swami Chinmayananda.
