Living a realistic life as an introvert in Toronto. Walking through life with Jesus. ✝️✨
Welcome to my channel! I prayed for a second chance in life, and God brought me to Toronto. I mainly document my journey living here (realistic and nothing fancy!) and sharing my walk with the Lord.🤍
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that you inspire me. I moved here in Canada Spring last year and I would still feel so lost. My anxiety and panic attacks were honestly bad during my first year here and I'm still working on it till now. I understand how it feels to wait for something from the Lord. But I hope and pray that one day it shall come to pass. 😊
Thank you 🥹 and thank you for sharing that with me! It takes a lot of courage to open up about your struggles, and I admire your strength in working through it. Remember that you’re not alone on this journey, and things will get better. 🤍 Keep holding on to hope! God bless you🙏🏽
This resonated so much with me. In my 30s as well and feeling so far behind all my peers :/ Just have to keep pushing forward & working towards our goal & things will get better. I also live in Toronto as well so its cool to see the city from your lens!
I totally understand! It can feel tough when it seems like everyone else is making strides, but you’re right we just need to keep working toward our own goals. It’s nice to meet another Toronto local 👋 there’s so much to appreciate about this city! We’ll get there!
I get it. Anxiety can be really overwhelming sometimes. Just know that it’s okay to feel this way, and you’re not alone. Take things one day at a time, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support. 🤗
10:02 SMART! you bought your own snacks. Its not worth buying food inside the wonderland, the last time I went there was more than 10 years ago. The food price has skyrocketed since then. The only thing I’d sacrifice my money for is for the Funnel Cake 10:33
Other than the funnel cake (which is really good 🤤), everything else is just greasy food 😣 it’s a good thing that they allow people to exit and re-enter the park at any time!
Thank you! 🙏🏽 It can be so easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, but taking time to be still with God is everything. I'm so glad that resonated with you! Welcome to the channel, and I appreciate your support! 🧡🌻
Hey! Always feels good when I see your video notification. What you said is so true-studying the Bible really helps us understand and acknowledge God's nature (hihihihi, just like moods, lol). God is good in every season, whether it’s mundane or exciting. Today, I was reflecting on John 5:1-9. I learned a lot, but regarding the waiting season, I’d say this: Jesus knows what we need at the right time. These phrases stood out to me: "Do you want to be made well?" and "Stand up, take your mat, and walk." This man waited 38 years, and when Jesus came, he just said, "There’s no one to put me in the pool." What if we’re searching for the things we need (opportunities, healing, breakthroughs) and the source is right beside us, but we’re not aware? This man received healing because he obeyed. God will do the impossible; we just need to focus on what’s possible which is our obedience. I thought I’d share this here. Thanks for creating this safe space on RU-vid!
Thank you so much for sharing that reflection! I hadn’t realized that verse could be about waiting too. 😱 It really made me see how important it is to focus on what we can do and trust God with the impossible. As I continue walking with God, the Holy Spirit constantly guides and teaches me obedience. I’m so thankful for this space where we can all grow in faith and learn together! 😊🌻
"romanticize your life" i saw this in a tiktok once and i wholeheartedly agree with it. seeing you actually practice it on your channel is insanely wholesome..💚 now i wonder what it's like to fly too...
Wow, that means a lot! It's something I try to do intentionally, so hearing that it comes across as wholesome is the best compliment. 💛 Thanks for watching! God bless!
Just found your channel and honestly I'm glad. There's this safe feeling i get from watching your videos.. maybe cause I'm an introvert too.. plus i tend to overthink. Now i can't wait to see more from you. God bless 💚
I'm really touched by your message, thank you for sharing that with me. It means so much to know my videos give you that safe feeling-especially as a fellow introvert and overthinker! Excited to share more and I hope my future content continues to be a place of comfort for you. God bless! 🙏🏽🌻
Hey I love your content! I recently created a RU-vid channel a week ago and wanted to ask if you could share some words of wisdom for a newbie starting out on this platform? 🩵🎀
Thank you so much, that means a lot! 😊 Congrats on starting your channel! I see you’re from Toronto too - subscribed! My best advice is to stay consistent, enjoy the process, and let it evolve over time. One of the things I love most about this journey is the sense of community I’ve found. It’s reassuring to know I’m not alone in what I experience, and we all have stories to share that can really resonate or inspire others. Keep going, and I’m wishing you all the best!🌻
@@billiegeediaries thank you for your solid advice! I’ll take that to heart going forward with posting. Yesss I’m from Toronto too! Thought to start this channel for the past few months and finally did it 🎉🎉🎉
This is the first video of yours that I'm watching, but I'd like to share with you something. I've been dreaming about something since I was 12 (I'm 19 now) and around 2021/2022 I gave this dream to God. It's been almost 3 years since I am waiting on Him and it's been an experience. It's not easy to wait it to happen but I trust He's going to make this dream of mine come true on His time. He's taught me to be patient and to trust on Jeremiah 29:11. I know it's been hard for you, but stay strong on Him and keep always in mind that He's preparing something great for you to glorify Him. Have a sweet rest of year, God bless you!! 🤍
Thank you for sharing! It’s so timely because I am currently reading the Book of Jeremiah. 29:11 is one of my favourite verses! You are still so young. I believe God will fulfill your dream in His perfect time. Let’s just keep believing in Him! God bless you!🙏🏽🌻
Thank you! I know the waiting season can be hard, but we’ve got this. Let’s keep each other in prayer and trust that everything will unfold in God’s perfect timing.🙏🏽🌻
I just read Psalm 118 this morning. Psalm 118:5: “I called on the Lord in distress, The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place, the Lord is on my side.” 🥹🤍 Thank you. 🙏🏽
Thank you for your comment on my previous video, it came at just the right time! I was struggling to find what I should say while I was editing, but your message gave me exactly what I needed to share. That's how the Holy Spirit works!🙌🏽
The lord acknowledges us , just by telling him help me let your will be done in my life he knows he knows he knows. He remembers because he never forgets. ❤
Last night during prayer, I completely surrendered what I was praying for and asked God to let His will be done. Seeing this comment feels like a confirmation that God knows, He hears me, and He remembers. Thank you for this powerful reminder. 🙏🏽🌻
Hi! Thanks for asking. I was actually curious if anyone would notice or wonder about what I write in my notes 😅. I use a Bible commentary to help deepen my understanding when I study. I take notes on important details from a chapter, verse, character, or event, and also include my own interpretations. I also write down insights I believe the Holy Spirit has revealed to me during my study. There are really no strict rules; I just write down whatever feels important so I can refer back to it when needed. You can do the same. 🙂🌻
I completely understand how that feels - it can be really hard to stay consistent, especially when life gets busy or we’re unsure where to start. What has helped me is setting small, manageable goals. For example, instead of trying to read a whole chapter or book at once, I focus on just a few verses or a couple of pages, really taking the time to reflect on them. I’ve also found it helpful to set a specific time each day for reading - even if it’s just a few minutes. It’s also important to understand who God is in your life. Once we truly know who He is, everything else starts to fall into place. We should prioritize getting to know the One who saved us - that relationship is the foundation of everything. Don’t be too hard on yourself when you forget; building a habit takes time. The important thing is to keep coming back and being patient with the process. I’ll be praying for you to find guidance and encouragement in your journey! You’ve got this!🌻
It gets hard being in a waiting season, there's a lot of mind games happening. Sometimes I cry myself out, Lord don't you see or hear me anymore. Its hard You know ; rejection letters, missed/failed opportunities, not knowing what next, and the list goes on. But God is a good God, someday I will smile so hard. Thank you for sharing snippets of your life, you inspire a lot of people...I see your growth, I remember your first video when you traveled to Canada All the best😊
Thank you so much for your kind words. I can absolutely relate to what you're going through. I, too, have experienced rejection and missed opportunities - in fact, my first application to come to Canada was rejected. It was hard to understand at the time, but now I see that wherever we are in life, it's exactly where God wants us to be. Even in the waiting and disappointment, He’s working behind the scenes, shaping us and preparing us for what's ahead. It’s not always easy, but I’ve found comfort in trusting His timing. I’ll be praying that you find peace and strength in this season, and I truly believe that one day, you’ll look back and see how all of it was part of a greater plan. Keep your faith strong, and know that you’re not alone. Sending you all the best and lots of prayers!🙏🏽
Hey! I remembered reccomending you to Badiali in your early video and your replied is the same as how you reacted here 😂. I like Badiali though. if you could reccomend me a good pizza place I’ll definite will give it a try. Prayer Request, I will be embarking on a new venture and will be quitting my current job that I have work for 18 years. I even struggle to tell my boss that I will be quitting. Please Pray for success in my new venture🙏
Maybe I need to try Badiali again. Coz when I went the pizza was dry and meh lol pizzas I’ve tried and loved here in TO are Bar Poet, Super Point, Get Well and Descendant Detroit Style Pizza! I’m praying for you as you make the big decision to quit your job. Remember, whenever you feel led to take a significant step, God has already planned your path (Proverbs 16:9). We just need to trust and take the leap!🙏🏽
5:20 hey, Don’t be too hard on yourself. If you are not briefed or told not to wear animal T-shirt on your first day, then it is not totally your fault. I wouldn’t realize that too if I were you.
Now that I think about it, looking back, I don’t see anything wrong with wearing a shirt with an animal logo. It could also show that I have compassion for animals.🥰
seeing your vlog, it's easy to see how spirituality inculcates peace in the mind and inner happiness in the heart. keep sharing so hopefully it inspires more people to be at least good humans, if not more spiritual.
Really appreciate your encouraging words! It's amazing to hear that my vlog reflects the peace and joy spirituality brings. I'll keep sharing in hopes that it continues to inspire positivity and growth in others. Thank you for the support!🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your spiritual journey with God, while sharing a nice and warm video. Watching from Paris, can't wait to come to Toronto next year ! Be blessed
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to know that my journey with God resonates with you. How exciting that you’re planning to visit Toronto next year! Praying for safe travels and looking forward to welcoming you to this beautiful city. 🌻 Be blessed!🤍
Waiting game is the hardest part. I was like you before and waited 2 years until God gave me my request. It was a long 2 yrs of teaching me patience and perseverance but it was all worth the wait. I give all the glory to God
Thank you for sharing that testimony! It’s inspiring to hear how God worked through those two years to build your patience and perseverance. It’s a great reminder that His timing is always perfect, even when the wait is tough. All glory to God indeed!🙌🏽
It’s really hard when it feels like God isn’t hearing our prayers, but that’s when we need to trust Him the most. Even when it’s not easy, hold on to His promises. Psalm 31:22 “For I said in my haste, “I am cut off from before Your eyes”; Nevertheless, You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried out to You.” I know He hears you, and I’m praying for you! 🙏🏽
I'm in the beginning stages of my faith and just reading the bible over the last to months and i completely understand when you say Christianity is mocked and challenged a lot I will definitely look into that study bible, congratulations on your 2 years here!🎉
Thank you! It's amazing that you're starting to explore your faith and read the Bible. It can be tough sometimes, but staying connected to God's Word makes all the difference. I hope the study Bible helps you grow even more. Appreciate the kind words! 😊 God bless you. 🙏🏽
