Jeff, I think we were in the same class at CC. I felt the same as you about CC. Sadly, I left CC after sophomore year because my family left Detroit. I am now retired; I have had a good life but one of the great regrets I still feel in life is that I did not graduate from CC.
Been through a couple of your shows now but this one had me in tears a few times. I was reminiscing completely in your stories of both your dads. Brian's especially, was moving because I had the privilege of working with His dad. When he said he was growing up at the parish I felt so connected because of my love for his dad.
My first job, as mentioned by you, was for Pete and Johnny Ginopolis. They were very relaxed but also ran a tight ship. Enjoyed my time there. I remember seeing Pete in print doing what I beleive were Hudsons ads. Mitch was the bartender and I beleive he stayed with them for years
