8:04 to 8:20 is spot on, a lot of spurs fan come at Ange for saying in the media he has been backed by the club and all his signings were his, ofc he is going to say these things, he has to say these things, or the hierarchy wont be happy and the players confidence will drop, so i don't understand when spurs fan come at Ange for this (Not you), he cant say the players are shit and he has not been backed in the media, i can understand the other criticisms of Ange though, Good video as well, well done mate.
Although i agree with you, i understand why some fans come at ange. those who come at him arent saying he should say the players are bad, but he shouldnt be saying he wanted him and this was a priority signing. especially when the players are playing badly, it doesnt rub off well on him tbh. i get both sides of the argument and i genuinely believe both sides are valid.
The only plan under Levy is to cut the sqaud wage bill and get in around the top 6 area. I believe Levy already has the next puppet in line for Ange which allows Levy to start the same old fake process all over again. He's learned over the years how to build a team that's able to finish just in around that area that I typed about. He's sole goal is to increase the value of the club by building up properties. And its' cheaper to build a squad to just get in around that top 6 area than it is to sign top quality players on high wages to challenge for the league. Levy is basically a con man with zero interest in Tottenham as a football club, he's just a business man interested in money and I'm sure he hopes to sell the club for around 10 billion in 5 to 10 years time. And knowing him he'll most likely sell it to a buyer with the exact same mindset. The day he bought the club with Enic was the day Tottenham died.
@@todareistodomyfoot8403 Firstly, I'm sorry for the late reply, I've been a bit ill. WOW! This really moved me. You were spot on🎯 and it's clear you have a lot of passion for the club. I do understand where you're coming from and hopefully when he sells it we have better owners🤞🏿fingers crossed
@@NorthLondonNarratives Well, get better soon buddy. On a positive note, he can't be interested in watching the football for much longer at the age of 62. Surely he'll have to think about selling up soon, but my fear is that he'll sell to another tight miser.
@@todareistodomyfoot8403 thanks mate🙏🏿 my prayer is that someone from Qatar buys us. Some ultra rich billionaire that just wants the club for glory and nothing us
@@NorthLondonNarratives I'm not bothered much anymore, the club is gone and is now just an entertainment stadium. Sadly, this is the way football is going, I don't really enjoy it anymore. The game is too robotic now and the players are nowhere near as good as they were 20 years ago if you leave out Messi, Ronaldo and R9. I'm sure now that it's heading in the direction of franchise football. Money has ruined the game along with technology and I don't feel a connection with my club anymore. And I guess that's the goal of Levy is to push out the hardcore fan base and to replace them with rich business people and tourists. Way to much politics in the game too and the FA a corrupt organization are ruining this beautiful game so it's like the blind leading the blind. Life and family is far more important, especially in these times when people are struggling hard just to get by in life.
Ten hag doesn’t value security in the middle because he wants to play direct transition football through the wings. And in my opinion that kind of football doesn’t work against top teams
@@YOUFRKENwhile i do agree that clubs have always signed young players, I don't think it's to the rate at which clubs do today . Look at clubs like Chelsea, Madrid, spurs, arsenal even did it for their project under arteta. Also the prices which these players go at these days is outrageous, and I get that inflation has affected the market but it appears clubs are more willing than ever to take a punt on the next messi or next Ronaldo etc.
I understand your frustration, but these were all expected at this point. Now, we just have to wait and see how everything plays out. Honestly, I'm concerned that the situation could become toxic if things don't improve. I'm particularly worried because a this rate, I fear Ange might be fired and I'm tired of constantly changing managers. I don't know who we would get as a replacement. Graham Potter? I'm not sure. The future doesn't look promising but hopefully our fortunes change soon.
I agree with your analysis about Solanke. His strong point doesn't seem to be finishing when what we needed most was a finisher. Richarlison is not a very good finisher. I think Tottenham missed the chance to get Toney who would have been an amazing signing. I would even have preferred Jonathan David who was available for a much lower fee than Solanke. Tottenham could have spent the big bucks on a player like Dani Olmo who can play the wings as well as centrally and has great finishing. Perhaps Ange's biggest issue is he doesn't understand the premier league very well yet. Tottenham is in the big 6 and most times would be playing against teams you would need to pick apart. For this reason, he should have prioritized players who can thrive in tight games as against players who can press. Sacrificing the finishing and playmaking abilities of Toney for the pressing of Solanke, I'm afraid, may prove costly if other intervening factors don't fall in our favour. As things stand, I have more faith in the Odobert purchase than in the Solanke one. Hopefully, things work out since games don't just depend on any one player.
Personally, I would have preferred Ivan Toney to join us, cause I'm not convinced David is the striker profile we need. Toney isn't a perfect fit either, but I believe he has the potential to contribute due to the ability he has. While I admire Olmo's talent, his injury history makes him a risky signing. We've had enough of that in the past. I agree that Ange Postecoglou seems unaware of the demands of this league, and I fear that will be his downfall. Hopefully, he'll prove me wrong. However, unless he adjusts his tactics, I'm concerned about our prospects this season. It's clear many Spurs fans share my concerns. Still, I'm willing to give the manager and the team time to prove us wrong. I sincerely hope they do, because if our fears are realized, we're in for a very long season.
It's not a direct comparison, the point I was trying to drive was that spurs needed clinical players and who we've signed doesn't seem to be that (i hope he proves me wrong)
Totally agree with everything you said there. But I will say give solanke a bit of time he had 3-4 shots on target. Players were in shooting positions passing into danger on pretty much every attack and that is what damages our chances of truly challenging. We need a player who’s going to go out on the pitch and take the game from them. We need that warrior mentality. I feel like every game we lose the mental battle let their players get to us that needs to stop
I agree, I said I'll give him time in the full clip. I don't know how to feel right now to be honest, I don't know if it's players that are the problem or the tactics or it's both. It's the first game of the season and spurs is already doing my head in😭
@@NorthLondonNarratives it’s only the first game of the season but it shows a couple worrying signs for me, Mentality and our final touch everything in between was brilliant from 55 to pretty much the 80th minute we were on the back foot. The players seemed rattled and frustrated when we were still one up. Leicester were in our heads for whatever reason (I am just speculating). What I know for sure the players need to come out against Everton and go 2 up and not let ourselves be in the position we were Monday but it’s football and this is why we love the game.
@@davidham5230 he looked funny in front of goal but I'm willing to give him some time. we need to start singing starters to give him a chance to do something, not squad players cause our starting 11 isn't even good enough. That's why I'm so angry with the signings we've made this summer. It's a joke really.
I am a Geordie living in Perth, Australia and last time I was in the UK was 2019, just before Covid. I travelled to your magnificent stadium with my two Sons who still live in the Toon. Hose Mourinho was your gaffa and Joelinton got the winning goal, what a day, very memorable and not just for the win. That was before the takeover, so I can understand your concerns every time Spurs play Newcastle. You nailed it when you mentioned that Newcastle not qualifying for European football could essentially be a blessing in disguise as the starting 11 you show, if they can stay fit, is a wee bit scary. Total focus on the Premier League this season for Newcastle and the ‘top six’ will be looking over their shoulders, for sure. The tide is starting to turn for the Toon as long as PSR rules are not breached. Your honest assessment is appreciated and some of the comments already show that there are some rival fans crapping themselves 😳
Yup, Spurs have always struggled against you guys😂 I definitely think No Europe is a blessing but you're right, fitness will definitely be a huge factor in your season! Thanks alot! I try to be as objective and honest as possible and its good to have that commended, it means alot! 🙏🏾 I am definitely terrified of Newcaslte and fans of other clubs better be, cause the magpies are coming!!!
Football is not about hopes, its about what you see when the season starts, think Solanke will do well for us. Every team as a choice 1,2,3, everything you read is from the press and the club dont need to be putting out statement for every player we go for. Stop believeing everything you read in the press. U Tottenham fans you too dey worry o :)
Different perspective - Its not the club's job to excite fans with the signings, its to excite the manager. It is the manager's job to use those signings to excite the fans with the football and results.
@@dhairya6025 true but i believe a more recognisable name makes it easier to get onboard with, the player cant perform well if he doesn't feel wanted. At the end of the day they're humans which means they're social beings and need to feel wanted. Nice perspective to view it from tho 💯
Extremely worried about the squad depth especially in defense. If Vdv and Romero gets injured we're screwed. We are playing in four competition this season
@@AminCorea We are definitely on the same page! Dragusin doesn't look comfortable in the system we play imo, asides from CB we dont even have a lb. We don't have a 6 and don't have a consistent rw. There's still a lot to do, but I'm willing chill till the end of the window before I start making judgements. Hopefully they put us to shame 🤞🏿🔵⚪ #coys
Rumours over summer of possibly signing Chiesa, fantastic. Then signing Solanke, just another Richarlison, Ndombele in my eyes. Average overpriced mediocrity. But hope he proves me wrong
@@andrewburton9643 New year same Tottenham🤝🏿🔵⚪ I hope Solanke proves us all wrong but tbh he's not going to be proving anything with Brennan as his winger so we need to sort that out to give him a realistic chance of doing anything next season, if we don't? We may as well have not signed a striker cause he won't be able to do anything if he's not getting service.
Nice video. Newcastle's season is completely dependent on Isak staying fit the whole season. If he does they could even get 2nd... but more than likely injuries will get them again so 6th-7th.
Nice to hear positive comments from rivals fan….if only some our NUFC fans who feel entitled and expect better would show some logic and respect when making comments. HWTL
@@WilliamCarr-qe8sl Thanks mate! That's means a lot🙏🏿✨it's fine mate, each person is different and has different views on things so I'll just say to each their own🤝🏿
Love the video - great to hear such an enthusiastic appraisal from an impartial fan of another team. I'll be watching the Spurs games with added interest after this. Good look with your own team for next season! Loved your approach and delivery!
@@NorthLondonNarratives should be a really interesting season mate gonna be very tight them top 8 positions, you’ve got a good manager very down to earth and comes across very well in his interviews. Similarities to Eddie Howe, good luck next season from a Newcastle fan 👍
@@glennatkinson7994 I am very curious to see who finishes in the top 8 and in what order tbh. Ange is a great guy but I fear the worst if he doesn't adjust his tactics. Thanks alot for the wishes and may the best man win when next we meet. Fingers crossed it'll be spurs this time🤞🏿😂
Me being a spurs fan is the reason I am complaining, i want the best for my club😂😂😂 its been nothing but sadness these last few years but hopefully our fortunes can change🤞🏿 #coys
Hi North London Narratives! Great vid dude! Agree with you Solanke is a good player and time will tell if he impresses us spurs fans! Also very confused by not getting Eze or Toney! I think we need to forget about listening to who we may buy and just wait until the end of the transfer window to see who we actually buy! I. Also disappointed by losing Neto to Chelsea! Keep up the great vids dude!
Hi mate! my name is Teslim😂 thanks lot, i do my best! tbh, i didnt really want neto and as for toney and eze, lets give solanke some time and the transfer window isnt closed yet, eze can still come in👀 fingers crossed🤞🏿
I wasn't worried before, particularly since Solanke have just signed for us. But every single one of your points are completely valid and if we had acted better then we would be in a better position to have a successful start to the season. After watching your video, i am a bit frustrated hahaha, but i am still hopeful for the season because i think we will see improved performances from the players due to Ange being in his second season.
@@TheTangyapple I hope so too, Ange says they have a plan in place so I'm willing to keep my hopes up till the end of the window. Hopefully we'd have had a better window by then. Fingers crossed🤞🏿 #coys
