Hello everyone. My name is Joe and with me on this channel is my son Zach. We have devoted this youtube channel to survival. Everything about survival will be talked about. From wilderness survival to food storage and being prepared. Lets learn to survive together! Thanks
Love all things Joe and Zach and Northern Seclusion but man they got ALOT of stuff! This kinda surprised me because with the tent and the few in house videos, he comes across as a bit of a neat freak.
I always enjoy watching your duck camp preparation videos. It reminds me duck season is approaching and all the things I need to get ready for our 4 months of chasing birds around 2 states. I made my yearly trip to Duluth last week and was surprised how warm it was for the end of September. Not only that, the leaves on the trees were still mostly green. I even stopped in Cloquet and had lunch before heading south. Hopefully you all had a good time at duck camp, and I look forward to the upcoming video.
You guys shoot two different ways joe holds his muzzle down while Zach free floats his , it’s funny how times have changed since then guys , good hunting 👍
Okay so just curious you mentioned it going to be so warm up there this year so you don't need your stove. Warmest duck Camp you can remember and coldest as duck Camp you can remember?
God help yall up there Minnesota. Didn't realize how much political hell yall are in. Good luck on your duck hunt. The way it looks, yall won't have a gun to hunt with before long. You got to many demonRats.
So happy to see this video as it’s a tradition to watch, I was a little worried after seeing the FB post from duck camp that there wouldn’t be a pre duck hunt video. Enjoyed this one as always. Looking forward to Duck Camp 2024
Take care of that tent Joe!!! Cabelas quit making the Alaknak tent series which sucks because they were a good tent system. Hope you have a great time and limit out on birds.
Hey Joe, yay duck camp and that famous thing you say to Sarah ( we all love to hear “Sarah it’s 4:30 time to get up). Thanks so much for not forgetting anything, the only way to go! 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
In NE Texas we call it Mare's Tail cuz it gets real tall & the little flower branches spread out like a Mare's Tail. I have a bunch in my pasture right now.
Well Joe, looks like that time of the year is finally here again! I love watching all your YT videos, but the outdoors man in me makes me much more excited when hunting season is upon us! I've been with you for many years now, and all the hunting videos you upload entertains me too no end. Especially when I see you, and your family enjoying it together. Hope you all have a great hunting season. Be Safe, and God Bless!
Can't wait for the Duck camp video even though I can't watch the shooting as I'm too much of an animal lover but I do love to hear the excitement in your voice when you pull out of your driveway and the anticipation on the drive up and the camp setup and fireside stories and goings on. Good Luck and see you soon on the next video.
That time already? I love the prep videos nearly as much as the actual duck camp videos. I'm really interested in how well that diesel heater works out. Go get 'em, Joe!
I carved my initials in a birch tree my first year. Back then, the first year you sat with Grandpa in "the bay." My Grandfather I am talking about is the one I burn the kerosene lantern for every year. The year he passed away, My Dad and I went up there on grouse opener and I went back to that tree, which was dying because it was so old, and I cut that part of the tree with my initials off the tree. The following year I walked out to that spot and the beavers had chewed the tree down. I still have that piece of wood with my initials in it. My Grandpa gave me the knife that I carved it with and he told be to do it.
We just got them. You will see a lot of them in the next few Northern Seclusion videos. I have one that will go public on Saturday at 5 central time that shows my morning milking routine.
