❤ Grande Maestro, grazie per questo video,un messaggio a chi si avvicina alla liuteria che non avevo mai visto prima, credo che hai trasmesso ai giovani quella magia che che hanno bisogno, senza la quale non si va da nessuna parte.❤
Lovely! This film reinforces a fact that is easily missed by many. It was shared with me by an acquaintance many years ago and I have found it to be truth many times over. "If you give yourself up to a material or a task and pursue it relentlessly and persistently, it will eventually give up all of its secrets to you". Your only investment will be yourself!
They didn't play with chinrests before. Mr. Biondi follows the "old" style (based on iconography and treatise descriptions) where they put the violin in said way. That said, it does look awkward from a modern perspective.
Second comment. I was plagued by over 10 advertisements during this video way too many. it might stop me from watcing them if this kind of abuse continues. two or three is exceptable. 8-10 no!
So just use an ad blocker like Ublock Origin in your browser... in a video that long no wonder you had so many ads... It's in no way the fault of the channel or video maker.
@Syd McCreath I don't have an iPhone, on Android I have Firefox installed with the same extension, ublock origin, and if I want to watch videos undisturbed i'll just do that from the browser instead of the app.
I'm just a weekend hacker in my woodshop. love working with wood. but no way consider myself a woodworker. Its a hobby. but I fell in love with the artistry of violin making these past months and am in awe but also aware of The Art of Plagiarism over time. but in a good way, it's that , That has kept the traditions alive and eager minds to adapt to the ways of the past Luthiers. thanks for sharing with this humble fan.ECF
