there's a quick, cute moment when they're about to get out of the tunnels where Dina goes "Babe...I'm really tired." and Ellie responds "Yeah, let's get out of here" or something like that
I wish I could play this game for the first time again. Idk how some people hate the story so much; an exploration of Ellie’s complex relationship with Joel is everything I could’ve asked for
I want a DLC about the journey to Seattle. Only get to read about it in Ellie’s journal, but figure it would focus a lot on developing their relationship.
This game has by far the most realistic NPC companions in all of gaming. They behave, checking things out in the environment commenting on stuff around them without your prompting, they kill enemies, you can manually select how powerful they are in combat, in stealth encounters they can get spotted but they actually stealth with you, hiding from enemies like you have to. Even in newer AAA games like Forbidden West they don’t do the stealth thing properly.

Or the bit where she comments she has snow in her shirt. "Dina! I'm here. I'm here near all the fucking snow!" - Oh, ya, cos she's gonna know exactly where you are, you pleb 😂😭 Oh, man, I much prefer "It's probably a sex den", not "It's probably a giant TV..." It's interesting that if you go to the Synagogue first, then the gas is in the parking garage and if you go to the parking garage first, then the gas is in the Synagogue!
