@@marsgarage8217 thanks for watching and for hosting the GB. This is a great kit for beginners. I forgot to point out the cracked windshield and the busted spotlight lense. Neither of which ever get replaced!
@@TI4438 They have been a few members that have asked me that..but I might just clarified that on my next update...so a rust bucket car. An be anything that is pretty much a project car or a hoopty as we call here in Cali, i also heard the jalopy tern, so that qualifies as a rust bucket..lol.
@@ramblers69 I'm very happy with the results. Oddly enough, I needed reference photos for decal placement but not the crustifucation. Thanks for blazing in for a look-see.
Awesome job Ed!! I also have no problem with snap kits. They can build into super cool models just as easily as a glue kit. I just built Revell’s 007 Aston Martin and it was awesome!! I love the weathering you did on this! My first time doing any heavy rusting or destruction too. Have been having a blast with it. Great build. Have an awesome week
Looks great! I know, I felt the same way the first one I rusted up, it all just seems wrong... Lol Now that I have done 3 it is a awesome process that is so much fun to do... 😁 Go over to Tim Hulsey (channel name too) he has a awesome videos on doing patina to a kit then you can add the rust over that and Mars 2 great videos as well. It's all fun and a awesome learning experience.. Keep the north lined out my Hoosier Brother... Lol LLAP 🖖
Awesome build Ed. Great job as always. Love the U.P. Livery. Currently working on the 67 Ford. Great kit as you would expect from Moebius but I also had a little issue installing the windshield on mine
Its amazing how many cars these multiple engines pull. I live in Pa and on numerous occassions have counted more than fifty cars of all types being pulled. Thanks for sharing Ed. Enjoy your week.
Sorry, I missed it. Very cool. My road is UP. Yeah my last Mobius build was outside window. oh and my Freightliner has the Santa Fe graphics scheme but not the same colors. 👍
Very cool Ed! Nice shout out. I like those bullet holes. For dents the very best way is to cut out the panel. Cover the panel removed with tin foil and get the shape of the panel. Then place the Tin foil back on the body and proceed to dent it. It's much more realistic than simply using heat on the plastic.
Good ole Cook County. I can't say anything bad about the police, they patrol my area and are always out there! Cook County in general... different story. Looking forward to this build!!!!
@@carouselofcrazychrisb I was hoping to get a next gen Crown Vic for this build, but I'm tired of holding my breath. Can't imagine why nobody has produced a kit yet. Thanks for stopping by.
Those do go together well, and look great with just a bit of paint detailing. Off to a great start with roughing it up! 😁 For dents, I generally just (carefully) hold it over a candle, just close enough to heat up tge plastic until it's bendable, then take something (a block of wood, ink pen, any number of things depending on the look you're after) and start mashing it in with it. I generally do that a few times rather than trying to do it all at once, be too easy to go unrealistically too far. Have fun, brother!! ✌️😁
The wheels and suspension etc. look to be in pretty good shape, i bet shes a mess on the inside though. Shame it's sitting there slowly rotting, should be restored into a runner. I get that it's a memorial/gate guardian etc. but it's still sad.
