This is a homesteading and lifestyle channel dedicated to making an honest and sustainable living. There's not much to it. We're family friendly and family driven!
Here you're going to find topics such as product reviews, gardening, hydroponics, homesteading, and lifestyles of the not so rich and famous! I hope you enjoy it! Please make sure to subscribe to the channel as it really does help us continue working on this project!
Rip the baffles out of the exhaust and drill some holes to open it up. Turn down the idle, lean it out and adjust the carb. That’s what I did and it fixed the overheating, stalling out and waiting for it to cool down before it would start again and the bogging down. It got a little louder. My chain break sprocket was also cracked and I had to replace it. I haven’t even run a gallon of fuel through it yet. The chain oiler is a little heavy. I saw a guy do these mods and run a 28” bar through 28” log with this saw.
Everything locks in place. Once you remove the vessel from the motor/base, that's all there is to clean. If your base itself is dirty, you may need to check for cracks in the containers plastic.
Homesteading and offgrid are inevitably going to overlap. The question is how much overlap? And also, depending on what town you're end, they might allow off grid but not farm animals, or vice versa.
Yes. Since making this video, some family members bought some and they worked flawlessly out of the box, others did not. Mass production is most likely the culprit.
first off by a real chainsaw all the dealers know the Mark ii 120 is a lemon right out of the box if you buy them new and have problems and you return them they will not help you
I have bought two of those. They are both lemons out of the box you end up having to replace the whole carburetor you get them adjusted. They don't do too bad and then the same thing starts to happen. They're kind of a waste of money.
So, I will say that since making this series of videos, several companies have stolen the idea and not mass produce a similar setup/kit. Check out some hydroponics stores/websites in your area. I should have patented the idea!
@@HowlingFarms thanks for the comment! got excited about it and got some black buckets, made a hole in the cover and put some 6inch net pots. now gotta get the tube installed and im good to do. thanks for the video
Hello! Yes, feel free to put the normal pillow case over it. I recommend placing the zipper in first so it's not exposed. But we've had no issues with them inside pillow cases.
Does the the tube going down in the bucket has to touch the bottom? I put one to gather with tubing from the hardware store , I tried it the air is coming threw but when I put in the bucket the water is not dripping, so I'm thinking the hose is not touching the bottom.
I have to change the sensor batteries but can't remove the cover after removing the 4 screws. Trying to insert a screwdriver between the cover and base destroys the plastic. It's a vert tight fit - any suggestions.
These headphones are better than the Q45, space one, Sony x4m, and the bose770.. I say this because I have those headphones and they aren’t better than
It does. I use Samsung SSD T7T8 for work. If you’re using a Mac make sure you have GUID boot record selected before formatting. Choose your format, and the option for it should be there. If you have issues shoot me an email and we can check into it more.
from new zealand i have one of these same bogging issue so i will re-tune the low idle screw and chk high end to see that its about right. ok ya cover doesint look on properly. as for oil you want to run out of fuel just before you run out of oil per full tanks at same time. husky is a very good saw ive used both sthil and husky in my many yrs of logging and there is no clear winner the both have pros and cons
Junk! That is what it is because the gear wheel that engages the electric motor gear, is made out of cheap plastic that dries out, becomes brittle, and the teeth break off. All they had to do was to use a metal insert on the wheel to match the metal teeth of the electric motor. But, no, they want it to fail early because they know you will cough up another $40 for a new one.
Damn, I am at work and have looked all over the Internet trying to find out what’s wrong, thank you so much for the video. I’m not home but I guarantee you when I check it. That’s what it is thanks.
Dear Genuis, can you try this experiment again with dirty clothes showing the dirt stains and sphagetti stains before and after? Also, since your washer has a glass lid, how's about showing how much the detergent sheet foam up or suds up? What about white clothing used in conjunction with bleach or Oxi Clean? Jesus H. Christ!
Great video okay what I don’t understand or like is the ring you don’t want the drip ring on 24 7 or root rot or not on enough it dropped and may die so idk but got mine with drip and stone in it so still trying to see
Don’t do that. Bend the arm closest to the magnet/brush back to 90 degrees but only till it no longer contacts the transformer in its full sweep. On the other hand his option is the safer one.
Hey brother. Good video. BTW, I had to modify mine when I went to a 6" net pot. The problem is the material that the drip ring is made out of is crap. It won't bend right to fit a 6" net pot. Mine crimped up and didn't drip right. I found 1/4" braided vinyl tubing, which is the same tubing that's on a sink sprayer, and drilled holes in the tubing and made it the drip ring. It bends easily and won't crimp up. Hope this helps. Happy growing ✌️😎
Lol. Wrong. The bearing is in the southeast quadrant, the direction you used is in the northeast quadrant. The easiest way to convert to a decimal degree is to start with the seconds, divide by 60 (because there are 60,seconds in a minute), add to the minutes and divide that by 60 and add to the degrees, then to convert to an azimuth (because your google earth is displaying azimuths, not bearings) subtract from 180. This converts the SE bearing to an azimuth
Bought this saw recently. Had all the problems this guy had. Unfortunately this saw will cut like a bada$$. But you have to adjust the carb yourself. Or take it to someone. It also did spill out lots of bar oil on me as well. That is adjusted by the tension on your bar nuts. I will saw this. If you get this little saw figured out. It will cut like a champ
Amazing, do you think this can be done with a 14 inch thick Cali King size bed? I have one and just wondered how it will be taken out when the times comes.
I just repowered my DR trimmer mower with a Bilt Hard, same as the Harbor Freight Predator 173cc, but $70 cheaper. The Briggs and Stratton 7.25 was junk from day one. Much better now.
