Miscommunication in romance (or any genre) is an immediate no for me. But I loved Chestnut Springs too!! Some of the first books I read on my Kindle :)
I totally recommend tandem reading (audio & physical) How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water! The audio narrator is fantastic- it was my fave audiobook of 2022! You bought such interesting books! I’m also curious about Parakeet now 👀
I literally heard about Real Americans earlier today and was so surprised to hear you talk about it here haha i can't wait to read it, loooove a family story
this made me check the goodreads reviews for dykette and wow i was not expecting such divisivness even with a 3 star avg! im even more intrigued by it now than i already was, though. i need to know what the truth is 😂
@@jordanmiller7247 I don't post on tiktok, but I do post about books on instagram! Some of my favorite booktubers include the bar and the bookcase, pages of carolyn, hannah may, kat's field notes, benjamin journal, nathan's nook, and litwithkat just to name a few!!
Please do a vlog for deeper the water! I’m just really curious as to what you think, I had it on my tbr for a while and ended up giving it away but I’m still intrigued
Kate, I loved this! Happy to see a video from you and I can really identify with being excited by books vs. feeling comfort from them. I have been craving that exciting feeling as well. This helped! Hugs
oooohhh I haven't read Supper Club but did read Lara Williams' short story collection and enjoyed it! can't speak her long form prose but the novel looks good !
ahhh that makes me so happy to hear, bc like I said in the video the cover is really what caught my eye and I don't know tons about her but I can't wait to pick it up!
I've actually never heard of any of these books! 😲 We must be on very different sides of booktube! 😅 I just found your channel and you seem like you have excellent taste in books! I also wish I could buy more books on my TBR but not only is it expensive but the spacdisappearsrs so fast!! 😅 Great video!
i'm a whore for love 😂😂 supper club sounds good! i haven't read this but i've heard empire of pain does a fascinating deep dive into the opioid crisis which you might find interesting for some more science gone bad takes
I love the prompts for nonfiction because you can really interpret them however you want! I just picked up hope by Goodall! Yoke sounds interesting as well! Thanks for the recommendations!
