I didn't see enough coats of clear to cut and rub out the orange peel. Unfortunately most production painter can care less as to the amount of orange peel they lay down. They simply leave it up the to detailer to sell the paint job to the customer, then move on to their next victim! Looks to be an early European 944, perhaps 1983 model. The body looked relativity straight, quite sure the owner will be happy with the end results:-)
It’s not a Herald Triumph. It is made by the Triumph motor company and the model is a Herald. So, it’s a Triumph Herald. There were many other Triumph models, like the Triumph Toledo, the Triumph Dolomite etc.

Leo Sniper, I know the TDS says 5-10 minutes between coats @ 20 degrees Celsius/68 degrees F. I don't have a temperature controlled both so it may be 80-90 degrees while I'm painting. Not sure if that would shorten the flash times., but do you wait until the first coat is still tacky or hand slick before applying the second coat? I know some painters use the finger test to know when it's ready and some say they just wait 10 minutes. My jobber said try 3 minutes between coats and that didn't work. I even tried 5min and still got die back. Not sure if I need to wait longer to eliminate die back.
Hi, I just started using the Debeer 8-104 HS clearcoat and having some die back issues while it is drying. Currently painting a black hood with it. Still trying to get used to shooting an HS clearcoat. On the TDS, it says 5-10 min between coats. Do you wait until the clearcoat is tacky before applying your next coat or does it need to be hand slick? Also, would you recommend adding a little reducer to that clear to get it to lay down better, especially on a hood?
I’m wanting to spray my e90 this color. I’ll be sanding down my cars current factory paint and spraying in the next 2 months or so! Very excited the color is amazing
