I love your products. I've been using blue magic for years even when my hair was relaxed. Then I went natural and started listening to the natural hair gurus saying don't use grease or any product with petroleum in it. That's when my hair suffered tremendously and I ended up with dry brittle hair any some small bald spots. The moment I started using blue magic .That's when my hair started thriving and my hair grew back where I had the bald spots. It's like I never even had bald spots in the first place. To all my natural and relaxed hair ladies out there don't listen to all these natural hair gurus that tells you not to use grease. Everything they said about Blue Magic is a lie.
You're supposed to use it as a "sealant" I wash my hair in the shower and while it's soaked I put a leave in conditioner with a cream then apply grease over that but you have to wash every week so that it don't clog hair follicles
Do u use them all together or only one I have coconut oil hair conditioner and the hair and scalp conditioner for my daughters hair but not to sure if I have been using them correctly or not
I’m starting out the New Year on a hair care journey to retain length in 2024. I have been natural for over 10 years but, I have not master retaining length. I have brought some of your jars and watched videos of others that have used these products. My hair breakage has lessen.
No. Just style your hair. It works best with braids and twists. There’s a lady that has videos from a couple of years ago that’s blue magic castor oil twist out. This is the only grease that keeps my dry tightly coiled hair moisturized. I apply mine with my palms in the back and then brush it through as far as it goes. Then, I part it at about where the grease ran out. That way it’s nit too much grease. I do the same thing about two times until I get to the front. My hair is short. Then, I braid twist it or flat twist, then take it down after a few days and let my scalp breathe until wash day.
Hi , I'm about to purchased , but i don't know which one will get a long with me .. i want item solve dryness, breakage and tangling.. i do have curly hair with thirsty and itchy sculp .😢
I smell it through the phone. This had my hair down my back as a child before I cut it. I also used this grease to grow my son hair out down his back. Only greased it after wash and braid and maybe once a week. Never daily
I have 4c hair!! My mom used the Blue Magic Super Sure Gro hair grease all the time when I was little. My hair was always thriving and shiny!! But one day, I don’t know why, but my mom stopped using it entirely. Not even oiling my hair anymore. And me being a dumbass one day. When I was 16, I curled my hair for a week!! With no heat protection. I ended up frying my hair by Friday. And my mom thought my hair would grow back if she just kept braiding it. But the problem was I wasn’t putting any oil or anything frequently, if not at all. It did grow back but It took a very long time and it was very dry. it wasn’t even long tho. And I have been told for a long time that my hair was scrappy nappy from my mom and I always thought that people would judge me if my hair wasn’t done. And I see all of these white girls and some black girls with beautiful, long flowing hair. I wanted that kind of hair so bad. In result, I got obsessed with sew in’s and hook latch styles. Wanting to cover my natural hair cause I thought it wasn’t beautiful enough. I felt so insecure. But recently I met this really great friend. We’re basically Sister’s now. She saw me with my natural hair one day and she went absolutely fan girl on me. She says even though my weaves and hook latches are beautiful, that my natural hair is more beautiful. She did explain that it’s really dry also, so she suggested that I used some growth oils cause she didn’t know about hair grease at the time. I trust her and she wants what’s best for me so I tried it for a while. It felt so soft at first when I first put it in, but it didn’t last that long. I basically had to put it in every day. And sometimes the oils just drip down my neck. I tried to use it consistently but it just didn’t work for me. I wasn’t seeing any difference in length and i still had a lot of breakage. Recently my sister has been very passionate about talking about God and how much Jesus love you no matter how you look. And It gave me enough inspiration and motivation to start embracing my natural hair. If Jesus thinks I’m beautiful, then I MUST be!! So one day I was scrolling through my mom’s Facebook page looking at pictures of me when I was little and my hair was so healthy, long and shiny. And I thought to myself, why don’t go back to hair grease. So me and my sister went to walmart and I picked up a jar of blue magic. Me curious, I opened the jar to smell it. 😂 Believe or not, I used to hate the smell of it when I was little. Now, me being 19, every time I smell the jar now, I just feel so much nostalgia from that very jar. It smelled just like part of my childhood when my mom used to do my hair for school. I started using Blue magic again a few weeks ago. And I’m already starting to see some change. My hair is moisturized longer, there is DEFINITELY less breakage, and my coils are getting more defined. I’m getting really into looking up cute protective styles for my hair and I’m having fun doing them! My mom always did my hair my whole life so I’m happy to try it myself for a change. And I’m starting to grow my edges back after my mom braided them off! 😂😂 Even my sister said that the hair grease seemed to be working and she encouraged me to keep using it!! So I definitely am still going to use it! I use leave in conditioner and use the hair grease to seal it in. And I started a routine where I wash my hair once a week. And I can see my hair really needed this!! I realized I was doing it all wrong, instead of wishing for hair I will never have, I should’ve been embracing the natural 4c hair that God has blessed with from the very beginning! ❤❤ Hair grease really is magic. And if there’s anything I learned from this, it’s you can’t go wrong with the classics. If it worked then, I can work now! Sorry for the long story. 😅 but I hope some of you find inspiration from my story to start using it again or try it for the first time! ❤ Your hair will thank you later!! Mine definitely has!!
You should ALSO look into creative writing and perfecting your grammar because you took me on a wonderful journey with this. I felt your soul through this. I felt like I was right there with you as a spirit friend. Through your comment, I have experienced your highs and your lows, felt your joys and your pains, and cheered once you triumphed in the end. 🎉 I decided to go back to hair grease last night, so here I am watching this video at 12:20pm trying to find confirmation for making this decision. I found that confirmation through your writing. Please, look into it if you haven't already. There's this company called, "Gotham Writers" in New York. I haven't checked on them since pre-pandemic but maybe they still have classes. I believe they have a creative writing book published. I just love how thoroughly detailed and refreshing your writing is. You held nothing back and opened your heart to a bunch of RU-vidr strangers. You're so dope! ❤ Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your new found hope in your hair growth journey! 🎉
