OMG, it's called a tensioner-- the 'little rubber thing' -- I cannot believe all the blind leading the blind videos on these machines. Most don't even know the names of the components, never mind what they do or the theory behind them. Nothing wrong with trying to fix your own machines but putting out videos when you don't fully understand what you're doing can't be a good thing. Still have not found anyone who knows the best way to put the chain back on the starter gear and actually SHOWS it being done. Lots of wrong ways, such as the method that need two people, or involves taking the starter body off the gear apparatus and losing all the little parts inside it... wow. The few that look like they know something, fast forward through all the crucial detail needed when someone is doing something for the first time. I'm a retired Class A auto mechanic but small chain-driven engines are completely new to me and I certainly can't find THOROUGH starter replacement videos on here.
I was like 12 when I made this video and you’re bashing on me because I didn’t call the tensioner the right name😂 get a life boss. Some class a mechanic you are not being able to get your kids Chinese quad running.
Hi i have a question It is possible that a 110cc cylinder could be put in a 90cc engine It is for a kazuma 90cc atv But I would like to put a 110cc cylinder on it You think the parts are compatible
I wished I would of had things like you got when I was a kid but its never too late I'm almost 50 and now I'm playing around like a kid. Make wise decisions don't rush and enjoy your youth
What if the starter wont spin at all ? I have an old and new starter and they both spin only when they are off the chain. But neither will budge at all when I install them.
Clay Oosting On the old model I had it was on the buttom. Do you know how you are supposed to adjust it? When I did it years ago it was something like turning it all the way in and slowly out till it idled better
@@clayoosting6925 i took mine out yestetday and I was doing a wheelie and the chain popped off. I put it back on and it somehow got tighter amd it goes way faster....
@@clayoosting6925 My pit bike was making an awful racket starting up and would it be the same problem on mine where the rubbers have came off the starter chain.
