Nice video. You could also try soaking the Leatherman in some water and dish detergent and the just running it under some hot water. Seems to work well for me
I’m from Washington state, nice. Which one feels better in hand, full or mini? Can/do you get a good full grip on the mini? Does the full size take up a lot of space in pocket? Is it easy to carry? Thank you.
I can't speak to how the Mini FREEK feels in hand because I've never handled one. However, I've owned the Mini Griptilian, and I can tell you that it was too small for me. I have average sized hands (i wear large sized gloves). I've always found that the full sized FREEK & Griptilian tend to fit my hand better. As far as pocket space goes, it's a pretty full sized knife, so adjust accordingly. Cheers!
K390, being a tool steel and not very corrison resistant, wouldn't be ideal if you live that close to water. HOWEVER, if you keep your tools clean and appropriately cared for, it shouldn't be a deal breaker. The edge retention/ toughness you get from K390 is worth having to clean and oil your blade regularly. Cheers!
You should. They had F-18's land there, so that is a good sign for the future of the show. If Hornets can land there, surely F-16's, F-15's, and F-22's can.
Have you found Free series tools getting especially dirty? I heard one guy mention that dropping it in sand caused it to gunk-up, from the magnets. Sounds unlikely (is there really that much Ferrous material in sand/soil?) but just thought I’d ask a guy who’s used it out in nature (I’d be using it on a farm, so it will get dirty).
Great steel really. Ordered some knives at DLT trading from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 Europe and it’s super fast. Great service great prices. The toothy edge is in my knowledge because k390 holds an edge better longer with an toothe edge. I remember Cedric and Ada said as well.
Great job on the yak! A lot of my 3 or 4 hour projects turn into 3 or 4 days. But the finished product is usually worth it. I’ve been following your previous few fishing & camping vids and enjoyed them as usual. Always entertaining & fun. Good to know I’m not the only person that talks to the fish on the end of my line!
I’ll tell you a little secret you may know by now about the freek. They over heat the edge and pretty much every freek needs 13 or 14 new edges on it before you get to m4 steel that holds an edge as intended.
And you have pretty much every super Freek right to back up your story 😂. Don’t talk nonsense when you hear some stories. Sure it could have happened but that doesn’t say that all the other ones have that. Keep it to your own fantasy and don’t scare new knife people away from great knife’s.
@@fakebobbyhill296 i do know knives and I do know some edges are over heated. But many many people have made super good reviews about this knife. And I’m not even a Benchmade fan. Actually I don’t even like Benchmade but this is a good knife with a great steel. You don’t know me so don’t say I don’t know knives. You would be surprised.
@@fakebobbyhill296 sure my friend. I base my opinion on what you say i don’t assume anything like you started with saying I don’t know knives. So cheers mate. And looking at your “channel” I don’t see much knife knowledgeable vids. Just the standard little boy games. But hey no hard feelings here. I wish you all the best mate.
Looking at the same folder and i think ill gonna order it then, Working as a car mechanic and I only using partially serrated folders in da workshop . Such a versatile blade for cutting harder materials easier like thick fuel hoses . Nice vid m8 keep it up 🤙
Wow! What great footage of a monster bass, and the excitement it caused! Love to see the reaction a big fish has on somebody that appreciates it. Thanks for another awesome video.
When he said it was an amazing tool, an absolutely amazing tool ...it's like the base player in a band- I thought he was saying base players are amazing tools LOL.
