Just spit balling ideas on an old vid because i can't sleep, but. Maybe the reason the unfinished gun can show up on boss pedestals is because of a layer in how pedestal mimics spawn? Like the gun is spawned as an interactive object attributed to the pedestal, so that if it is a mimic it can absorb the item and drop it when it dies? I suppose it might depend on when a pedestal mimic is decided. Does it go to spawn, roll to see if it's a mimic, then animate the pedestal spawn. Or does it go to spawn, begin the spawn in with the item, then check to see if it's a mimic and modify the pedestal sprite and add the animation to it.

Don't know if you meant classic doom but oh well. There's a literal universe of custom wads out there, all made by genius artists and level designers to be enjoyed. If you want to give a shot at one of these masterpieces : grab a source port (nuggetDoom, dsda), buy the Doom 2 iwad , and jump down that rabbit hole.
I'd say it overall *looks* very similar, between then and now, but there's definitely small differences. For example the early access version here has gold outlines around all the UI elements, but current versions have the weapon icons colored to represent their scaling, green purple or red. But I think it currently plays much better from the early access versions. I mean, the game's had 6 years of improvements since then.
There's a reason I keep coming back to Gungeon, it's a classic in my eyes. And it doesn't really matter to me if people are just here for Gungeon, I'm just here to have a good time! You got me curious though, what would you like to see on the channel?
I gotta be honest, if you keep playing Gungeon I will keep watching. I also watched quite a bit of Atomicrops, Shovel Knight, and Tiny Rogues when you were still doing those. I've been trying to spend less time on YT recently, that's the biggest reason I stopped watching as much and haven't seen what else you got up to after you were finished with those games.
On the topic of enemies acting weaker the more damage they take Literally a core mechanic in most Monster Hunter games Once any monster you are hunting reaches a certain HP threshold, the monster will start limping and retreating away to eat or sleep to heal.

I started watching your ftl only now, but its coolest ftl playthrough on the youtube. I'm not sure that i will have enough patience to watch whole playlist, but i will watch a lot. And watching your videos i understand how bad i am in ftl... Also, i found you because i wanted to get all achievments in ftl, and i started searching just for good ftl videos (;
I have another FTL playlist with a 2nd playthrough of FTL if you want to hear me with a slightly better microphone too! I should really just merge the two at some point (maybe).
