She advertises it as a healing retreat, and pads the reviews. I'm a cancer patient,(living on a budget) so Im converting a shuttle bus into an RV / tiny house. I went there to work camp and it was far from how it was advertised !!! Campers were being double charged, and campers credit card numbers were being used for other purposes. Sure they contested the charges, but I'm sure that the process was exhausting to try and rectify it On DAY 2 of my stay, Enota was raided - by the SWAT team. She is a conartist and based upon her lack of knowledge, I'm not at all convinced that shes a Dr. The landscape is quite lovely, BUT it's in such disrepair that it's become dangerous. And, the black mold was not condusive for any kind of healing. Suffice it to say - both the property, and she were NOT as advertised !!
Dr SUSAN L Freed - aka Dr Swan, owner of the moldy, rat infested, tenement called Enota was raided Mon for theft and stolen property ( farm equipment/ tools, etc.) 2 days later, they're still removing items from this run down dump. The land itself is beautiful, but I wouldn't stay there UNLESS you enjoy drama / stress.
So funny, I grew up in Kansas and we’ve always been called ‘flatlanders’. We even have ski 🎿 shops called, Flatlanders that cater to rental equipment when headed to the Rockies.
You wouldn’t need one if you only plan to stay at the Omni, but if you are considering venturing out to downtown Fernandina or anywhere else, I would plan on getting a rental. You could always Uber also. Have a great trip!
I just spent a week there and we loved it..we wished the beach would've stayed opened longer..7 on weekdays 8 on weekends..be aware there are some huge raccoons..lol
Good video, thanx, we are making our second trip next month. We looked at other RV parks, but like you say, concrete jungle. I did a Google Earth on most of the campgrounds I researched in the mountains. They were close to highways, no trees, and wall to wall concrete. I can overlook the needed maintenance for the serenity and beauty of the area.
We were just wondering if anyone had a Margaritaville RV resort review! Thanks for posting, you’re one of the few reviews. We just posted our review of the Orlando hotel. When we RVing would have loved to stay here!
There is the Landshark @ the water park and I believe a taco place on the island. The surrounding area (Buford) had a few restaurants and a Starbucks. We heard Flowery branch had much more but didn’t make it there.
