I can see why the shelter would be built there…..but I wouldn’t have built it on that little beach at all, no matter how convenient. Big waves, big storm and he would be swept away.
Aw man I loved this! I have a heat related disability and it's coming into that time of year I am a prisoner in my home for 4 months😫 It gets up to 38degrees C here. Im thinking of starting this hobby. To help keep from from getting depressed Your videos will help me as I've never made anything like this but am clever. And artistic. Thank you for your content Mina P.s. New sub here❤
I have the problem of wanting a screen within the scene to be illuminated evenly across, and for the indiviual led's to be indistinct. I got some special diffuser plastic from an optical place but the lights are still so close to the back of the screen that they're obvious. I can't seem to solve this. And thank you so much for this video.
seeing you mention that nail care set (you can also find similar tools sold as wax carving and sculpting tools, and get alot more variety) makes me think the inverse of this video. I have an old GW sculpting tool sitting on my desk that I use all the time. Its almost a universal tool for me with a _/\ shaped sorta hook end and a flatter I or U shaped tip at the other end. Its kinda crazy how oftern I need it when I'm not at home and wish I had it!
My carpenter's squares see action on many terrain builds, as does my old hand saw and miter box. Also aviation snips, pliers, drafting compass, yard sticks, clamps... now I think about it, I guess I still use a lot of tools from my woodworking days.
Always have my mechanical pencil!!! I will also say, thinking of them and wood pencils as two very different tools with overlapping uses can help give new ideas!
My little addition to unusual tools is a pair of pantyhose. Not to wear but stretch them over the end of the vacuum on low power and it’s a good way of finding that little part that has landed on the floor and disappeared into oblivion…
Haha great idea. I have seen people do it for static grass pickup, and god only knows how many hours I've spent looking for tiny bits even after watching it them all the way to the floor only to find it on completely the other side of the room.
Nice collection. I sometimes use a bandsaw. I even showed it in one of my vidyas. There's a table saw, here, but the housemate thinks it's a table ̶s̶a̶w̶, so it's never easy-access 🙄
Firstly, thank you your kind words. And yes, whilst this piece is proudly on display in my living room, I would be up for selling it for the right price. Send me an email and make me an offer. creativecuts83@gmail.com
When I got started I used paper, glue, scissors and pva sample paint. You can build almost anything with paper. Also, rubbish has some gems to work with, like lids, old pens, and plastic packaging.
Very true. Whilst I use a lot of 'professional' modeling materials, my favourite type of build is repurposing packaging, old toys etc. The only limit is ones imagination haha 👍
Love it man! Great movie and great diorama. Bi fan of your channel. I have watched every video, and some of them several times over. Eagerly await new videos and projects. I hope you keep going for a long time to come.
Thanks again, great job! The diorama far exceeded my expectations, I’m over the moon with it. This video was a great watch and very interesting, obviously a very tricky project and you have brought the scene to life in a very realistic, quality way and have done the movie proud.i would encourage anyone to reach out to creative cuts with any ideas you may have. I will be coming back for more 👍
