Nice! I had Albert Peckingpaw's Revenge and The Soul Hustler on RU-vid,but they kicked me off a second time! Dammit! I thought I'd never be able to upload all my stuff a third time but it seems I've underestimated my own stubbornness. lol however,if you have those two, please feel free to upload them to save me the trouble of having to re-upload them, although I'm happy to do so if you don't have them. I've got some Harley Hatcher 45s coming up too..again! lol
I am a lifetime fan of this band. I have met all of them several times and as a musician myself, this is the greatest music I’ve ever heard, and this is the greatest album of theirs. In my opinion. I love each, and everyone of these guys I have met and played with all of them. They are awesome people and they will be very well missed.
Divino acierto, banda desconocida, igual Black Merda,Funk poderoso, dónde las voces y la instrumentación llevan al más allá. El único problema, que es interrumpida por publicidades y musicas sueltas que cortan la inspiración.
Just became aware of this specific posting now (in mid-June 2024). As someone who was born in Toronto, Canada in late 1963 & has been living in this city since then, I would have been familiar with at least one of the songs on this record; since circa mid-1977. That would be the song "Love to the People"; which I started to hear (often enough) on Toronto AM radio station CFRB 1010 (again, starting in circa mid-1977).....
It would not be until circa that latter part of 1997....that....I would purchase the specific LP ("Looks Like We Made It")....and thus...start to play the "Love To The People" song regularly on the various record players I had use of; from thenonin. (And I know that [from as early as 1990 to as late as circa 2008] I would hear--often enough--the version of "Southern Nights" [on this specific record] on another AM radio station here in the Greater Toronto Area--->first 1250 CHWO & later AM 740.)
I thank the author of this site for the opportunity to listen to live music. I really love American disco, which I listened to on the Voice of America shows as a child.
_ 01).❤👍📀🏆🇧🇾 thenks. Неплохая танцевальная музыка. Не было!, а жаль, но лучше поздно, чем никогда! В этом стиле и в это время завалены: ABBA, Boney M, Supermax, Secret Service, The Teens, Eruption, Chilly, Space, Jean Michael Jarre, Kraftwerk, ... . А с Канады нам везли: Moody Blues, Rush, Saga ! , Blackfoot,, ... Минск🌟
Thank you very much for the upload.please do you have this album which is not up on here at all the larry page orchestra their melodies together 1973 and also mike and bernie winters for mums and dads of all ages 1976 it does not matter if you do not have either of these albums at all and also there is the copyright issue of course but if you do again it would be very greatly appreciated.
" don't say you love me"; ce morceau a obtenu un succès aux States. C'est absolument beau et vous donne envie d'être heureux. L'album est bon ; incontestablement ; mais pas. moyen de l'obtenir en cd. Un groupe ; bien entendu ; ignoré par nombre d'entre nous....
Bien dommage ; la musique est très belle et bien agréable à entendre. Les vocaux ; hélas ; c'est la catastrophe ; dommage de critiquer ainsi mais voilà....
Roy Gee Hemmings (vocals), Tex Flint (saxophone), Willis Sylvester (saxophone), Charlie Sylvester (guitar), Sam Fortune (vocals, keyboards, percussion), Steve Sylvester (bass, percussion), Ronnie John (drums)
