Hello Antony it made me laugh to hear you having your wife and dort driving vans back to the UK. I would go into a flat panic myself. Now...a quick question? - I have a very nice Autosleeper - solid chassis and cills - the VW Trophy one - H reg 93k - and everything works as i got all done. Do you take part exchanges? As want a Symbol or Duetto - Yr 2004+ ideally a diesel.
Hi Antony, I think the metal plate on the floor is probably because one of the previous owners has had an extra forward facing travelling seat fitted in the rear at some point or could even be for clamping a wheelchair in the gap between the rear seats.
I wish I could afford camper van I would definitely one from you as not many dealers go to the trouble that you go o to and put your name to them. Love watching
Hi there my neighbour where i live has one of these and loves it , He has a flat but when he wants to get away for a break out of the rat race he parks his up in Scotland for a few weeks and has a great time , only downside is its too small for a shower but at the site where he camps they have shower and toilet facilites only like £10 a night up there so yeah a very good buy and i think the engine is non turbo so thats a bonus and probably why these old Romahomes are still on UK roads.
I will say one thing about GB driver's.They look after their motor's. The really good responsible driver's are meticulous in keeping records, especially service records, MOTs etc etc. I would definitely buy a car of a Brit 🤝 , 👊☘️
