The other day when me and my friend finished watching the 4th arc of the anime and i explained to him a thought i had that this arc structure where everything resets after a certain amount of episodes feels like playing and replaying a linear table top board game like monopoly, you go unitl someone wins and then you begin again at the "start" point, i hate that i was right and all this drama and suffering in the anime was just a game for gods to enjoy
Now it makes so munch sense why the other anime that had similarly to when they cry is because this part of the curse and game that they both are related in a dimension in separate Consequence
So all of this started because someone said: "F*ck it! I want to play a game". A game that got started by a witch. A game where two witches competed, and one came out the victor. Each scenario, is the same game with a different ending. And that game won't come to close, until a satisfying victory. Correct?
Still don't know if this is the canon explanation, Featherline's role in higurashi is not mentioned? I watched Higurashi anime and is currently reading Umineko manga up to arc 7, it's still no much explain in the story.
Ok I get it now somewhat. (Again) So basically the 2020 version was made to the that background info from the game and move it to the anime. Because the one who wish to become a god like and make rika suffer was satoko. She pretended not to know anything from the start and make rika suffer. If we put this in a time line the 2020 version comes in first then, 2006 when hanyuu decide to for reason take rika to another timeline…. (That’s as far as a go) am still doing my research on this and watching the old version S1. Then am watch S2 I still don’t know who era is and what she wanted
I really didn't want to watch the first one to understand wtf is going on. Every character is unlikeable but I'm hoping that's intentional cause they keep dying anyway.
You have to watch season 1 and season 2 to understand the plot of Higurashi the first season is mostly composed of the "question arcs" where you're supposed to make your own theory and try to solve what do you think is going on behind the mystery of this anime, it will all start to make sense in season 2 the "answer arcs"
@@0raribaby yes 2006 and Kai are the main series here is the watch order: 1. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni 2006 2. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Nekogoroshi-hen (Nekogoroshi is an OVA). 3. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai 4. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Rei (Rei is an epilogue OVA series only episode 2-5 are important). 5. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kira (Kira is just full of fan service you can totally skip this). 6. Higurashi Outbreak (Outbreak is a movie it is not canon you can skip this). 7. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Gou (Gou was first thought to be a remake but it turns out to be a shocking sequel continuation story of the old series after Kai). 8. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Sotsu
This makes me thinking about Gou's arc, when Satoko wins, and kills Rika, she was the real villain in this whole universe, and also, look Satoko and Lambdedalta, their looks exactly the same---
When They Cry series watch order: 1. Higurashi no naku koro ni 2006 2. Higurashi no naku koro ni special Nekogoroshi-hen (OVA) 3. Higurashi no naku koro ni Kai 2007 4. Higurashi no naku koro ni Rei (OVA series only episode 2,3,4 are canon) 5. Higurashi no naku koro ni Kira (Fan services OVA) 6. Higurashi no naku koro ni Kaku (OVA movie) 7. Higurashi no naku koro ni Gou 2020 8. Higurashi no naku koro ni Sostu 2021 9. Umineko no naku koro ni (Umineko anime is terrible! you must play/read the Visual Novel) 10. Ciconia no naku koro ni (Visual Novel)
So... People from When The Cicadas Cry universe are a board game to these god-like beings? However they can be turned into the same just as those Witches? Also does that mean that When The Seagulls Cry Universe the real universe between Cicadas' universe? What about the Higurashi Outbreak movie? How does that fit in? Did Rika die in that?
Can someone explain to me how the loops work. Why are they different. When I think of loops I would think of rezero but the loops in Higurashi arnt like that. Can someone explain to me how that works
If you first understand how parallel world works, this should be easy for you. Different realities/worlds and outcomes ongoing at the same time. A looper will try through those worlds one after another as they fail at each attempt to get their desired outcome and start from the same date when they start anew in a different world. I am a newcomer so I dunno if I explained this well enough. You can watching an explanation how normal parallel worlds work then you can understand this.
Who else could it possibly be this woman was willing to kill off of village of 2,000 people just to be called as such and I believe Tokyo the organization not the capital was also involved in the witches game in fact I think that their leader is a witch most likely Featherine or lambda Delta
Higurashi is actually much more than that, surprisingly deep the series was always about trust and love that each bond you have the people around you, and miscommunications can lead to tragedy because the fear we put into ourselves and on others causing lack of trust and love.
Tbh I watched 13 episodes (all they had) on Funimation, and it just confused me more, especially when I didn't know it'd go this deep. Funimation just threw everything all over the place with no explanation just with a "good luck" Is there a way to watch it all correctly? I've only 3 stories where Keiichan never dies, 1 where Rena stabs him after his parents were out of town and she was "expected to make his dinner" another one where Mion locks him in her uncles cellar and they find the bodies in the well, Rika dead in the water tank and the blonde girl dead with her, the last is when the blonde girl is being abused by her uncle.
I'm in the same situation. people thought the 2020 version was gonna be a remake, but it's a sequel to the 2006 one. I watched the 13 episodes and intend to watch the last one with my friend's account since they have premium. Anyway, I suggest you try to find the original seasons as I will. Their names are: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. There is also the 3rd season but it's not necessary to watch it to be able to understand the plot.
@@edmontronic4422 yo have you seen the latest episode of higurashi gou???? I think a certain who is lambdadelta... this video further proves my theory!!
This is how you watch Higurashi in proper order: 1. Higurashi (2006) 2. Higurashi Kai 3. Higurashi Rei 4. Higurashi Gou (2020) 5. Umineko (Don't watch the anime it's terrible! Just play the visual novel or read the manga) "Extras" for fan services or not canon: Higurashi Kira and Higurashi Outbreak I hope this helps
actually if you see the bernkastel looks like rika and 3:25 lambdedelta looks like takano atleast for me so basically i would say it was always a battle between two witches and nothing else
