When the Bears were last great, our special teams were best in the NFL. Hester, Maynard, Gould. Multiple excellent gunners like Vasher. They affected EVERY game. Special teams really matter!!!
From what I've read, the Bears are hoping for another Ray Guy out of Taylor, and I hope they're right - I heard John Madden once describing all the different ways a great punter helped a team!
@@americanmafiamedia8460 Exactly! Remember back in the Lovie days? It felt like every drive we started at the 40, and the opponent either on their 20 or backed up to the goal line.
If i was the bears id trade for 2 firdt round picks this year and 1 next year including a solid offense lineman and draft a rookie receiver and get rookie Oline and get a rookie qb next year they need focus on protection for qbs if they cant do that any qbs will be doomed to fail on the bears offense line also they need sign a vet qb or atleast try trade for one grab a project rookie qb maybe he succeed right away like Brock Purdy or be good insurance back up
Does it really matter? If the Chiefs offered the Bears Mahomes for the No. 1 pick, it would be the end of his career because Chicago doesn't do a thing to make its QBs better. And the same goes for Washington.
As a bears fan. It's not gonna happen. And I say this because they traded Fields away already. If we kept fields it would be a possibility. But over here as u mentioned poles already said no. He was involved with the chiefs when they drafted maholmes , it's been said he sees lil bit of maholmes and lil bit of and I hate this guy ,but a lil bit of Aaron Rodgers. He's made his mind up we taking Caleb. When draft happends you guys are on the clock.we have only met with Caleb no other QBs... But thanks for sweat that dude has been a beast.
Washington would be insane to make the first offer. Williams won't be a complete bust but will not live up to the hype. Sure compared to Fields he will be a difference maker but Fields was not the answer in Chicago and won't be for Pittsburgh either.
That’s an awful lot and if Washington was offering that and it were to happen…the Washington GM should be fired. That’s just ridiculous. Besides…No other QB has visited Bears other than Caleb. Caleb did not visit any other teams. Bears are not trading for a so called haul. It’s over. Washington should move on to their second option. The Bears understand that no amount of draft capital or so-called “haul” is worth passing on what they think is a generational talent.
