It was kind of sad to see how Muhammad Ali had that affliction, because the racist United States government and white people really made it hard for him to work when he was in the prime of his life. Therefore, he had to work when he was too old. I love how Whitney honors Diana always and even in her earlier career, she (Whitney) would sing Diana's songs in her (Whitney) concerts.
I like Diana's version better because it's a motown song actually Ashford and Simpson but Marvin & Tammi did the first version and it's just inevitable there'd be a Diana Ross version. Arethas is more well Arethea like gospel and that's great too but I'm just more familiar with Diana's version

Also couldn’t help noticing personally that especially during the Supremes Medley, Diana’s background singer at video-right eerily reminded me from a distance of Mary, having the effect of Mary onstage kickin’ those background moves and rhythms along with Diana and the orchestra. ❤🎵👍
" Diana couldn't really sing ...." ?? Not bad that, despite "Diana Ross can't sing", after 60 years of career she continues to play sold out concerts in the arenas all over the world!! Instead, other singers who "know how to sing", sing in small venues in front of a few hundred people... life is really strange!
Diana Ross gives a really good performance in a mediocre movie that has little to do with Billie Holiday. Liza gives a great performance in a great film.
I love her opening her concert. I was crying on that day cause my friends was late. I seen some of the show on the cable channel WHT. I was living in the Bronx. I was there the next day I almost got crushed in that crowd never again will I do a big free concert. I love Diana Ross but not a crowd of people
